It was horrible. I have been to 2 different LabCorp and had a very bad experience. First of all the place was not clean and this was during COVID. They post signs that they clean up behind every patient but they don't. They had other patients records and information laying on the counter for anyone to view. Also, patient care is not their forte. They don't use the right technique to draw blood and it causes much pain and discomfort. Because my doctor is not registered at the hospital, I have to go to LabCorp. At the hospital they use butterfly needles to draw blood from my veins, but the workers at LabCorp refuse to use butterfly needles. They have poked needles in my nerves and tendons. I asked them to use butterfly needles on me and they tell me that they are in short supply and want to save the needles for babies. The other day they used a long needles to draw blood from my hand. The forgot she had the tube in her hand and was wondering why no blood was coming out. After moving that long needles around in my vein she realized she forgot to insert the tube. She made such a big hole that she had a hard time getting the blood to stop gushing out. I have a big bruise, a large hematoma (lump), and I am still in a lot of pain with soreness, stinging and burning. I am not happy with LabCorp. I spoke to the site manager and that was not helpful either. She gave me a lame excuse that the children were out of school and they used up all of their butterfly needles on the kids that came in days ago. If they are going to be in business they need to have the right equipment and use the proper techniques

Terrible experience from start to finish. Paid $200 out of pocket for labs. Can't get results.

Very VERY bad customer service; appealed Medicare's decline on tests required for surgery; LabCorp unwilling to wait; sent bill to collections which affects credit rating; will choose physician next time who does NOT use LabCorp.
