Lab draw stations are not always staffed with enough help for number of people needing blood work. Too often I have had to leave and come back. Making an appointment does not solve the issue when there are too few places and not enough workers. Most of the workers are great at their job and try.

I have tried multiple times to ask for compensation because they did a mistake on my test . They keep ignoring me . I think it's just because I'm just a foreigner or they are generally don't care about humans.Tried to find a contact to raise my complaint and I spent hours explaining things to several people and they say they will get back to me with no answer. I personally think it's something to do with my race that they hate unless they are equally bad and rude to everybody

I did not visit it. I was trying to reach them to discuss a recent charge last week for something I already paid for and was had paid for and have not been to a Lapcorp in three weeks. Calling there was a joke! I usually don't give bad reviews unless I'm given cause. Called the corporate office in Burlington, NC regarding an unauthorized charge and I have always paid my portion every visit and I've only started doing business with them through my insurance when I relocated back to Maryland in June. The first number listed was disconnected. (You need to have your website administrators remove it). The last two times I was first cut off immediately and transferred, then was disconnected. I called back, someone picked up the phone, was transferred again, someone answered then hung up again. You're hourly paid employees need to find another line of work because they're unprofessional, rude and completely incompetent!!!!

Horrible Corporate Office. Hung up on me and then was busy for 19 minutes. Can’t get billing and can’t get an invoice from them. No one knows anything.

Absolute simpletons on billing - my credit rating went down 134 points due to them claiming I did not pay an invoice - here's the kicker -They billed an insurance that I no longer had (for four years). Their billing department is so incompetent that once that happened, they proceeded to send the invoice seven times to a home I had not lived in since 1995!!I have had these same problems with them and I have been seeing the same doctor for 30 years; but these idiots must not know how to read updated info. They said the doctor's office gave them the address and insurance. To catch them in their lie, I asked them what phone number they had for me. They gave me my cell phone which is 15 years old. I said here is my insurance; just bill them. They said they couldn't because they had sent the bill to collections; but they agreed to take it off of my credit report.Well due to their stupidity, the bill has not been paid and will not be.

Uncaring and not helpful company. My mom is 98. She went to get her blood tests with an empty stomach as directed. She arrived and waited 1 hr. 20 min only to be told that they did not have the test orders and she would have to come back. The next day she had her test orders. She arrived at the appointed time - 8:15 a.m. - with an empty stomach and waited 1 hr 30 min. Finally, after watching others called who arrived after she did, she went to the desk and was told her turn would be soon.98 years old. When I called the LabcCorp she went to -- Chestertown, MD -- I was told they were understaffed and she just had to wait her turn like everyone else. I have to admit I got upset.98 years old without food and she had to wait her turn for 1 hr. 30 min.?

Like Ticketmaster, they are virtually the only game in town and despicable. I REFUSE to use them after they never coughed up a refund. This company should be investigated for insurance fraud, consumer fraud, and generally burned to the ground because they are one of the most awful companies (including cell phone companies) ever to disgrace the face of the planet. They don't just draw blood. They draw the will to live out of anyone who tries to use them or has to contact their "customer service". That department rings straight to an office in Hell, by the way. Two minutes with the CEO and he would curl up in some dark corner on his yacht sucking his thumb. But those people never encounter or interact with those who use their "product" or "service". I hate this place and every location with their name on it.

This is how companies trash a customer's credit report. I went to my doctor in September 2022, and they had me go for blood work. Apparently, the blood went to Labcorp in North Carolina. The actual name of the company is Laboratory Corporation of American Holdings. There is no street address. The bill comes with a PO Box. I went to my doctor in September. The invoice date from Labcorp is October 22, 2022. I set up a BillPay from my bank to pay this bill on November 16, 2022. That was the soonest date I could get the payment in according to my bank. In November I got another bill from Labcorp. The invoice date was November 26, 2022, which is 10 days after they received my payment. This wasn't just a bill, they sent me a "Past Due" notice. It was confirmed, however, the payment had already been received by them. I called their automated system, and it said I had a zero balance on my account. I thought it was over. I was wrong. In December I received another bill from Labcorp. The invoice date this time was December 17, 2022. This wasn't just a bill either. It escalated from a bill to a PAST DUE notice, to now a "Collection Notice". I wonder what I will get in the mail next. For no apparent reason, Labcorp received my payment over 45 days ago and keeps sending me past due and now a collection notice. This is how companies threaten their customers to get money. Had I paid them twice or even a third time I am positive nobody would have contacted me to tell me so or even to let me know I was due a refund! Please track your bills carefully so you are not taken advantage of, and your credit report is not ruined by staff/employees who are not able to perform their work efficiently or effectively. The company may tell you that it is an "auto generated" statement but that makes no sense. That insults our intelligence because we all know that someone has to "push the button" for that to happen since it is a person who enters if the payment has been received or not. Thank you for reading and tell a friend. Happy 2023.

They have been sending me bills for years, and I have informed them at least a dozen times that I AM NOT THEIR PATIENT and that they need to fix their billing records... to no avail. And of course, there is no working phone number to contact them.

Although my medical facility runs its own tests onsite, I received a bill from labcorp for the usual tests. No time or inclination to pursue the matter, so I just paid it.A couple of weeks later, the dunning letters began, which quickly became threatening. I tried phoning labcorp customer service, but it took forever to reach someone, and she didn't seem capable of grasping the situation. My bank had already confirmed that the check to labcorp had been negotiated. She couldn't understand these simple words. At this point I guess the only resort will be to small claims court, once labcorp follows through with their threat to damage my credit rating. Shouldn't be long. Here's the Washington Post on labcorp collections:"LabCorp, a medical testing company, said 7.7 million customers had their personal and financial data exposed through a breach at a third-party billing collections company ...the hacker was able to access names, birthdays, addresses, phone numbers, dates of service, account balances and other information. The breach also exposed credit card and bank account numbers."So at least they're "good" at something.

Lack of timely billing alert system ruining the patients' credit scores! Why there is no any system at LabCorp that informs patients about the bills? I got the billing letter 4 months after the procedure was conducted by the Student Health at Duke Health, and only 1 week before it was sent to collectors!! Great that I noticed it in my Spam folder on the 4th day. Nobody informed me at Duke Health that one out of several tests was sent to LabCorp, and there was no info in MyChart either. So why there is no any timely alert system to inform patients that they have an outstanding bill to pay?! Technically, it is so easy to implement! Patients have NO IDEA that a hospital sent something to LabCorp, nothing appears on MyChart, and the billing letters arrive too late ruining the patients' credit scores!
