I’m trying to understand why shell is holding my money for a gas transaction that was canceled. This is ridiculous I’m calling to reach out and can’t get in contact with anyone, I don’t live in this city to just drive there. I need my money there is no reason why this company should hold someone money when they made no transactions

I am sure, I hope that the station hand nothing to do with my situation. I have had a debit card for over 30 year. I choose, as is my right, to not have a pin number. This makes it harder to waste money. For some silly reason the gas pump says ( texted ) please enter my pin number for safety reasons. I have never had to enter my pin for gas. It usually states to bypass pin press enter for credit. Then for security reasons it askes for my zip code. Easy peasy.
The problem is I left my house specifically to get gas at a Shell station. Waisted my time since I was unable to get the gas I needed. The the 20 something at the register piped and told me " I always have to enter my pin". Ugggggg. .
