This use to be my favorite shop to get ornaments and ribbon. I was so sad when I went in and everything looked different. I understood that the owner was selling this florist. Many years of shopping here. I hope whomever buys it , turns it back to how it was. I also pray for the owner and her health. May God bless you

Absolutely unprofessional. I ordered a funeral spray for my mother’s service, and none of the employees working there seemed to have any clue as to how to organize a simple order for a funeral. They repeatedly asked me questions as if they expected their customers to teach them how to run a floral business. Beware.

Please stay away from Stainback florist!!! I received a large arrangement from my husband who had to be out of town for our 42nd wedding anniversary. As I set it down on the counter to read the card I noticed that quite a few of the flowers were rather flat and squashed looking. Upon closer inspection I also noticed that many of the flowers had brown edges as if they were old. The next morning several of the rose heads had flopped over and about a third of carnations and another type of flower that I couldn't identify were looking half dead (Note photo). I added more water to vase and pulled out a few of the dead flowers to photograph and decided to see what happened the next day. The third morning the arrangement was looking really bad. When I finally took it apart to save what I could I noticed that many of the flowers had short stems that had been just tucked into the top part of the arrangement as if they were trying to freshen up an old arrangement so they could still sell it. Those stems were nowhere even near being able to reach the water in the vase. I reluctantly told my husband about it and he was very unhappy as he said he paid A LOT of money for that arrangement. PLEASE find another florist and READ REVIEWS before you buy!

Fast delivery: from the time I placed an order online (just before 11am), flowers had been delivered to my mother in the hospital in Burlington by 2pm. I was so pleased that the flowers arrived in such a timely fashion and I know they helped brighten her day.

I need to do same day delivery to my sister-in-law who is turning 50 a very special birthday. I called this florist and spoke with debbie and they arranged the most beautiful floral arrangement at an awesome price and delivered it within three hours later. I highly recommend this forest and I will upload photos later.

I have used Stainback in the past and was very satisfied. This was a arrangement for my Fathers passing and to say I was VERY VERY disappointed is a understatement! We went in the shop and picked the flowers out in person! One, I paid $485 for this ( was told it had the same amount of flowers as a spray, I don’t see it)! Two, I specifically said NO Daisies, the main flower was to be these beautiful Blue Hydrangeas they had! (As you can see not a one in it but you see Daisies)! Three, the back is very bare! Four, was not delivered when told! I waited 2 hours at the Funeral Home, made 2 phone calls to them, only for them to deliver them to the Church, thirty minutes before the service! At that point nothing could be done! I have debated whether or not to write this review but it has just kept weighing on me. The people there are very nice but at the end of the day this was our final farewell to my Father, my children’s Grandpa. I could care less about the money but it should have been near perfect, it was NOT!!

Do not order from this company! I ordered a specific arrangement for my mom based on style and color. What was delivered wasn't comparable at all! I understand that substitutions may have been needed based on what was in stock but it should still be similar in style, color, and value. When I called, the shop assistant was nice but couldn't do anything to help. The owner, Debbie, called me back and right out of the gate was one of the nastiest people I've ever dealt with. She didn't ask me my side of the story, she just started yelling at me for having an issue with her ripping me off. She was angry and said that nothing was wrong with the flowers and kept repeating that they're beautiful. She refused to acknowledge my concerns and kept yelling about how it's the same and "they're beautiful." (Side note: while the individual flowers might have been beautiful, the arrangement certainly was not. I could have bought the same arrangement at Walmart for half the price.) I can't emphasize enough how rude and horrible Debbie was when all I wanted a refund for the DIFFERENCE IN PRICE of what I ordered versus what was delivered. I didn't ask for a full refund or for a whole new arrangement. BEWARE, YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU ORDER OR PAY FOR and they will refuse to help and customer service is a foreign concept.

What was ordered is not what was delivered. Called shop to let them know. Person who answered the phone was unable to keep up with the issue. Provided no resolution to issue. I could have put the arrangement that was delivered together myself using flowers from Harris Teeter. Be cautious when using this shop.

Beautiful flower arrangement. I suggest calling rather than ordering online as there was an unusual delay with my online order. The arrangement was less rustic than the one in the photo I ordered but I wanted a unique arrangement and the one they made was lovely.

We are an international customer so have to rely on the photos when placing an order online. Flowers were received but totally wrong colour. So we called the shop and were told that they will only supply what they have, basically you will just get any flower arrangement to the value of your order. I know that they cannot guarantee the exact flowers but what is the point of choosing a colour palette at all! The response from the shop was terrible. They made me feel like I should be grateful that ANY flowers were delivered of any kind and then the lady slammed the phone down on me!! What does that say about the quality of service and care from this establishment towards their customers. Very disappointed as sending flowers should be a happy experience.
