Booked through a third party- Expedia- receipt showed the room fee plus taxes. Only additional fees mentioned were incidentals- also indicated that pets were welcome. I read through all the fine print and no pet fees were provided anywhere. Upon arrival at midnight I was told it would be an additional 75 dollars which was more than half of what the hotel cost per night. Hidden fees such as this are a bait and switch practice and an unethical way to treat customers. I should have been fully informed - it’s not that hard to post your pet fees so I can decide if I want to stay there. Most pet fees I have seen are refundable for no damages or in the 25-50 dollar range. Do not recommend!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The staff was great, the location was great (there were tons of food and shopping options nearby). The room was small and cozy, we did our normal wipe down of the room and I got to say it was shocking how clean it was cause normally when we wipe the top of things it's covered in dust but nope it was clean. The only thing I didn't care for was the water pressure in the shower, it was a little too hard for my liking but it would not stop me from coming back. I hope they keep it up cause we'll definitely be back!Rooms: Rooms were great. Only thing I didn't like was how hard the water pressure was in the shower but it's not something that would stop me from coming backSafety: Very safe location and quiet areaFood & drinks: Tons of food options nearby

This hotel jacked up the prices for college move in. It costs $892 AND 15,000 Hilton honors bonus points for 3 nights! The location of the hotel is very convenient and easy to find. There is pretty much anything you need in the area. As far as the hotel, it’s quite clean and there’s a small, but nice breakfast included with your stay. Although the staff was very friendly, they didn’t offer us any bottled waters which was/is supposed to be included with silver hilton honors status. They offered them to the people checking in before us but they may have asked. There’s Elon artwork on the wall, a pool table in the lounge, and a small snack bar around the check in desk. The elevator and exits are convenient/close because the hotel is quite small. There’s an ice machine that worked well to fill our small cooler. I think the price is a little steep for a very basic facility without any bells, whistles, or real cream for the mediocre coffee. Now, for the not so great parts. First we arrived and there wasn’t a single valid parking spot after driving 11 hours. We were told by the front desk that it was “okay to park in the handicapped parking space.” I expect to have a legit parking space when I arrive for the 3 nights that have been booked and paid for. Not cool. Second, the very small room had an uncomfortable bed and the shower had no water pressure. In fact, the shower was so weak that with long hair, it took me me a whole hour to rinse shampoo and conditioner out of my hair!! Good thing I wasn’t in a hurry!! I woke up with a horrible back ache from the uncomfortable bed. After arriving late from driving, we were rudely awoken at 9 am by pounding housekeeping staff. They banged on the door and before we could even respond they banged again and again. It was a bit rude and bazaar. We stayed 3 nights and that was the only time we heard from them. Our room was never cleaned, beds were never made, trash piled up etc. I would expect that 1,000 for 3 nights would include at least one cleaning visit. Now for the kicker, we were charged 3 separate times!! First, we paid at the time of booking because of how full the hotel to secure the very last room and because I applied bonus points toward the total price. Fast forward to the morning of the day we were going to check in and I was charged again. I asked the front desk and no one could tell me why I had been charged twice and assured me that someone would get back to me. Before hearing back, I woke up night 2 to another charge!! This time for a different amount $590?! Again, asked the front desk and they said the manager / auditor handled charges and they would get back to me. (Nope.) Finally, on the day we checked out, Saturday, I got the same repetitive response from the front desk. Lots of talking no information or explanation. An apology would’ve been a good place to start. Would anyone be fine with being charged 3 times for the same stay?!? The girl explained at least 6 times that she was returning from out of the country and was shocked when I said that I did understand the first time. She also said the manager doesn’t work on the weekend and to call back on Monday. So personally, I wasn’t impressed but being charged multiple times without an explanation brings the frustration to another level.

This place was great nice and clean. Also very quite. It looks great and the employee at the front desk EBONY don't know if she was a manager or not but she should be. She was kind friendly and knowledgeable. She was def great. Will stay there again and would recommend.

Stopped here for an impromptu, one night meeting at Elon and it was OK. Staff wasn’t terribly friendly. Went to lobby late evening and there was a bottle of wine on a table. It was still there at breakfast and even a few hours later. Rooms were expectedly small but well thought out. Location off interstate was good with good food options nearby.

Professional and courteous staff at the reception. Nice room and clean bathroom. Breakfast was okay but for the price totally worth it.

Couple of recommendations to this hotel. Need coffee maker in room. Also need bigger trash cans in bathroom with separate recycle can in the room, NOT the same can with a divider between-NO GOOD!!

Because of a minor mix up in my schedule it costed me almost 200.00 for a room I never used.. Literally called a minute after the reservation.. And The GM said No I couldn't cancel.. When I came there before work after working 16 hours.. The Agent said I don't see you in the system.. I blame myself as well I wasn't rested & was trying to make sure we had a room for the event...But a lil flexibility goes along way even a late cancel fee would have been fine..Noteworthy details: The rooms are small breakfast wasn't impressive small town type of place

Was up for a business trip to Burlington, NC. Was a very nice hotel, and it was not too hard to find off the freeway. Ac worked but did make sound while running. Another review had mentioned the same. Very clean room, entry and elsewhere in the hotel was very nice. Very friendly staff, professional. Would stay her again. It was very reasonably priced. The bathroom was very spacious and easy to get in the shower. I'm 6ft 8in tall, so it's nice to have room to move around in the shower.Rooms: Had a double bed to relax on, room bathroom.
