Effler's Grocery is a great local pit stop and small grocery shop in a remote mountain area. It is a great place to grab supplies, groceries, and basic necessities for a few days in the forest, including fresh farmer's market produce, fresh veggies in season, fresh fruit like apples, and home-made jams and butter. Ice and firewood are also available. The service is exceptional, super hospitable, and friendly. The owner and staff are very friendly, helpful, and take care of customers. Prices are higher than normal but very fair and understandable for the remote location, making it worth not having to travel down the mountain. The gas pumps work for filling up your car. It is a highly recommended business to support.
