My stay was very quiet and peaceful. Heard no one snoring. Bed was so comfy! The other patrons seemed happy. The breakfast was very tasty. I enjoyed the other guest’s company. I think what really made the stay memorable, (aside from the peaceful mountain setting), was the hostess, Su. I could tell she genuinely enjoys serving people and making sure they are comfortable and content. She always had a radiant smile and had kindness in her eyes. I observed her when she served breakfast, and she made certain everyone was welcomed and enjoying themselves. There was an energy in the air that just felt so warm, peaceful, relaxing, and happy.

What a lovely B&B! The house is cozy, the breakfast is delicious, the bath towels are ever so soft, and the company of the other guests was delightful. Su & Mike are wonderful hosts, and we'll definitely be back!Walkability: Easy walk from the B&B to the sweetest little "downtown", with plenty of shops and restaurants, and then access to several walking paths.

Next time we need a little less liquid sunshine! Kudos Su and Mike!Rooms: Rooms are roomy and well decorated, ensuites.Nearby activities: We hiked along the Blue Ridge, made a couple of trip up to Mt. Mitchell and took in a few waterfalls, went to the observatory, and did some downtown shopping, our stay was 4 days.Walkability: Close enough to walk downtown and back.

My wife and I just celebrated our anniversary and were able to visit the Terrell House. We enjoyed visiting with the owners and staying in the house. Our room was very neat and very comfortable! The house is located perfectly for what we wanted to do on our trip. We weren't far from the Biltmore, Grandfather Mountain, or Mt Mitchell. In fact, we were kind of between all three which made it easy to come and go and not spend so much time traveling. The owners also told us of things to do in Burnsville and we took them up on that. We visited a nice restaurant in town and were very pleased with how relaxed the atmosphere was. If you've never been, you should definitely go on your next vacation!! Highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast!! Thank you for having us Sue and Mike!

Under new management. Excellent experience. Comfortable beds, great food and the hosts don't mind interacting with you and encouraging others to. Found it on the fly several years ago and have made it our destination for the Blue Ridge Pkwy every year ever since.

The house smelled like biscuits when I walked in. Made me think of my Gramaws house. So beautiful inside and out and the owners are so accommodating. I will definitely be back with my husband (as this was a work trip)

We stayed here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The inn was lovely and our rooms were comfortable and cozy. Our hosts were extremely gracious and went out of their way to help us with a special request we made. We also loved the little town of Burnsville. Couldn't have been a nicer stay!

Fantastic hosts. Gr8 location. Only if they could have included more options in breakfast..... but the rest of the facilities are soooo good that complaining about less choice in breakfast doesn't make any

An excellent B&B experience! Mike and Su are lovely hosts/innkeepers, just delightful to talk to and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was very quiet- could not hear the other guests at all! Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options. Cold drinks are always available, which is a nice bonus. The inn is conveniently located near downtown, with plenty of parking and common spaces available for relaxing or chatting with the owners and other guests. Be sure to book the Patricia and enjoy the clawfoot tub!
