First thing I see is an employee with his pants all the way down his butt, covering his underwear. Come on now, I thought that was becoming out of style. Not professional at all. The store is cleaner and stock was off of the floor, glad they are hiring more people now.

We are here visiting family and needed a couple of things. Young man behind the counter ringing us up was so nice to us he was happy and singing. He made us smile. Awesome employee!!

I was truly shocked at the ratings for this store. This store has some of the best operating hours in this area. This store also has some of the nicest employees running the registers and the manager is so accommodating and courteous as well. I have some limitations on what I can lift/carry and the manager saw my struggles from day one years ago when I came into the store. I will never forget the first day I encountered the manager’s courteous attitude because I was in tremendous Arthritic pain and was struggling to purchase my items that day. I grew up in this area, but I had moved away for close to a decade and was not familiar with the staff. I was totally shocked when the manager offered to assist me that day. To the present day (2 years later), she still offers her assistance to me. I have never experienced such helpfulness at a store and she is always there working just as hard as her employees. I have even asked her does she ever have a day off. She works in whatever capacity she is needed in the store.. I am totally shocked that this store doesn’t have a higher rating. I only receive top notch service when I shop here.

I had a pleasant shopping experience at the Butner location. It was a Saturday and the store was clean and it was easy to find what I needed. The lady at the register greeted us when we walked in and when I was ready to check out there were a few customers in front of us. But the lady at the register was very quick. My purchase went smoothly and all my digital coupons rang up right. The lady's name was Mary and she was very helpful and pleasant. I am in customer service and it is nice to have someone who makes you feel good. Thank you Mary

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO ANOTHER DOLLAR GENERAL CUZ THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST STORE IN THE AREA . I HAVE BEEN BY THERE 4 OR 5 TIMES AND THEY DON'T EVER HAVE WHAT I NEEDWHO EVER ORDERS THE STOCK ARE. NOT DOING THERE JOB . ITS GOT TO BE POOR MANAGEMENT.

Went in tonight tried to buy a $5.00 can opener. I didn’t have exact change and the only option they gave was “round up”. I asked “you are telling me you have absolutely no change” the manager said “only pennies “. I informed her pennies are fine and she said we can’t give you all our pennies. The only option was for me to give them an extra .66 cents. Why can’t they round down ? Because they are padding their pockets with the extra.
