I love this place. Have been coming for years! Always got great service from owner and his wife…. Today was first bad experience. Sat on Labor Day weekend. Guy serving beer was very rude!!!! We are at outside window. He is acting like we are a bother …. Really??? I don’ like to complain about small businesses, and we will come back …. But not many more times if this guy is still here with attitude.

This is a great little craft beer bar with a selection of drafts from NC that are clearly handpicked with great care, not famous ones that are easily available at my local Total Wine & More in Myrtle Beach. Friendly bartender and a very relaxed vibe including outside tables, and a nice soundtrack. It's a small place but was not crowded on a hot late Saturday PM - there are specials on some other weekdays. A fine selection of interesting beers for purchase as well, and some beer books to peruse while drinking. It's walking distance (say 1000 feet) from the main T-junction in Calabash and there's also a sushi restaurant which is good right across the street.

First time here. Happened to see the sign on the side of the row, looked it up in yelp and decided to stop on in. Did not disappoint! Wide variety and friendly bartender.

I’ve lived in Calabash for 7 Years and never came here because I had no clue it existed. Upon arrival the bartender greeted me with a welcoming smile and helped me find the choices i wanted. The entire selection I saw the day I went was from North Carolina which made me respect the place a lot more. I got a sour beer and a Lager, both were extremely good and I left the bartender a couple nice tips to show my appreciation for how nice this place is and how much i want to come back my next day off of work. Definitely recommend and I am extremely picky!

My husband and I arrived at 7:40 pm and there were some people at the bar, but before we could take a step towards it, the bartender said they'd already given last call. I told her I just wanted the 4 ounce sample and she said no, I've already given last call, then turned back to her customers. She wasn't nice about it at all and we felt embarrassed to be left standing at the door. Won't go back.

Came down from Virginia and was looking for a place like this and it didn’t let me down. Lots of beer on tap and plenty of beer to buy and take home. Our bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable about the different beers. Highly recommend and will make this a place to visit when we come down for vacation every year.

Great tap selection and a pretty good bottle/can selection on shelves. What I don’t understand is why they serve craft beer in plastic cups. This is craft beer not Budweiser! I asked last week if it was due to COVID and if they planned to use glasses at a later date? I was told no that they would continue with the plastic cups. Everyone who is in the craft beer business should know 2 basic things when it comes to serving beer: you don’t serve it in plastic cups and you don’t serve it in frosted/chilled mugs. Craft Beer 101.

Great selection of craft beer on tap and on the shelves! Craft beer snobs beware, beer on tap is served in plastic cups. Craft Beer 101 - NEVER serve it in frosted/chilled glasses and NEVER serve it in plastic cups. When asked if they plan to move towards glasses I was told no.
