About Slow Farm
Slow Farm is a regenerative farm dedicated to creating Slow Goods, a line of skin and wellness products made from herbs and fruits grown on the farm using natural and historic techniques. The farm works to restore a former tobacco farm by mimicking nature, building soil fertility from the microbe level up. Animals like goats, Kunekune pigs, and poultry help turn weeds into rich soil, supporting the farm’s eco-friendly approach. Visitors can enjoy farm tours, group classes, and private workshops that combine farming, ecology, and creativity. The rustic, nature-forward setting also serves as a venue for photo shoots. The farm’s goal is to share a love for sustainable farming and show how it can be part of everyday life. Customers praise the farm’s products for their quality and effectiveness. The Slow Goods face oil and apricity face and body butter are described as luxurious, hydrating, and suitable for sensitive skin. Many appreciate that their purchases support a small, family-run business that harvests native species from the farm’s land. Visitors also enjoy meeting the animals and learning about the farm’s history and practices, often mentioning the warm, welcoming atmosphere created by the farm’s team. Overall, Slow Farm is celebrated for its commitment to sustainability, natural techniques, and high-quality, handmade products.

I did a photoshoot at this beautiful farm last week for my couple! We couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for it:) Rachel was the sweetest and she helped guide us to the best spots on the farm!

The best thing about being neighbors with Rachel @Slow Farm is that when I start looking like Tyrone Jenkins, I can just give her a call for the elderberry lip balm to take the dry lips away!😂😂😂😂 Thanks! You are the best!!!!

While I love all the products I’ve tried from Slow Goods, one of my new skin care staples is the facial polish. That and the body butter are essential during these cold, windy days.
