Come off I40, turn r, go to light, turn r again, immediately past the ExxonMobil and the "dead end" sign is the lovely front office and restaurant. You have to go behind this building, 'way up the hill, turn right, and there is a three story motel hidden in the pines. Wanted to get there in time for supper ( before 8 pm) but road work and exhaustion took its toll. Lovely 1st floor room to accommodate our cat and dog. Nice room w/ 2 double beds. Had to park the uhaul and trailer down the hill behind the main office and walk or drive up the hill. Quiet, peaceful, nicely spaced neighbors. Not the usual for a Day's Inn. Polite and professional people.

Staff pleasant and professional. Room and beds are surprisingly nice to stay in. Good hot breakfast. However, the door was drafty and did not feel secure.

I travel for work. This town is an awkward location with limited choices and I'drather not be here at all. Ever! This town is only friendly if you are Caucasian. I'm not. This place has awesome friendly staff. Made me feel safe. They were always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place. If you walk into a room and find a cricket or a spider.... don't freak out. They need to live too!

So my wife made a reservation here and then her mother passed away. The last thing she was thinking was to cancel the room. We just saw this morning they charged us for the room. I called and spoke to Jim the general manager and explained the situation and asked for a refund because we never made it to the hotel and he simply refused us that. Due to the circumstances you would think they would refund the money and not take our money especially being a 3.5 ⭐ rated motel..... That wasn't even sold out. My experience just by conversation on the phone with him I would not recommend this motel to anyone unless it's a last resort. Pretty sad that he feels like that is the right thing to do. We will never stay at a Days Inn ever again.

Don't stay here! Not only is this hotel in a very concerning area, we were charged for a dog for our ENTIRE stay that was just visiting for a few hours because they saw her on the camera. When I attempted to dispute this, their response was "you've already lied to me so why would I believe you now." In my experience, that is not how you speak to a paying customer. The people running this place do not care about you, your well being, or the hotel for that matter.

Older hotel but very well maintained. Comfortable beds. Clean room and clean property outside. Great home cooked breakfast. Nice swimming pool. Quiet with easy access to the highway. Super nice staff. This is a very nice modestly priced hotel.

Very pleased with the hotel. We had a dog so our room was on the first floor as requested. It was very clean. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and supper were delicious.Rooms: Very comfortable bed, very clean with microwave and refrigerator.Food & drinks: Breakfast was very fresh, we had eggs and biscuits with gravy. They also had coffee in the lobby, and made a fresh pot of decaf for my husband. Many hotels now don’t offer decaf. They also have an evening supper ncluded. It was pizza pasta when we were there, fresh and delicious.Noteworthy details: They have a Southern supper included, one fresh meal each evening. Very good and unique.

We are enroute to Florida for part of the winter and stopped here for the night. We were pleasantly surprised at the price being under a $100, a free dinner included that was super yummy, and a clean and very quiet room! Free Breakfast in the morning was another bonus and a noon checkout time was perfect for our lazy, leisure morning! The hotel is a ways off the freeway so it was super quiet too! We will be staying again on our way back to Michigan in a month, we loved it here!

The hostess, Victoria, was about as grumpy as could be. We were trying to find a discount and none of them were valid so we had to spend $79 + taxes for a total of $90. Had we gotten a deal, it would have been easier to handle her attitude. I know how hard it is to find good staff, but being friendly makes a WORLD of difference!Rooms: So the beds were fine except we really needed a queen or bigger. The room wasn't really updated- the back of the bathroom door was dull of chips and splits. Temp was good.
