I have been to FastMed Candler in the past and on "those visits" would have given a high rating. One in particular I had an asthma attack and the Dr really made sure I got healthy by trying steroids first then moving to a pneumonia antibiotic that finally cured the breathing problem out of bronchitis. I only went in once and did not need to be re evaluated to get the right meds to work. This past visit I went in with horrible ear pain and was told, "you need an appointment there are 27 people in front of you." Wow, did I deserve that comment? In terrible pain I made the appt and waited hours in pain to see the Dr. Took me in and got blood pressure oxygen but not temperature. I thought odd but again was in terrific pain. The Dr saw me for literally a minute. Put the thing in my ear said, "you have outer ear infection I'll call you in ear drops". Also asked me if I used swab in my ear. Two days later in pain and getting worse I tried to use portal to message but did not work. This is when I see there is a temp on my visit (no one took my temp) and a note that I denied putting things in my ear. Sounds like Dr thinks I am lying and what does it's even matter I have a serious infection I need to I be treated accurately. So drove down to leave the Dr a message. A different lady at the desk asked me 3 times Dr's name which I repeated over and over I did not remember. Then slapped a clipboard at me and told me to fill it out which when I handed it to her with message to the Dr to please prescribe antibiotics. She said, "when I have time I will review this but you will have to stay here to see if you need another appointment". Over a 1/2 hour passes (only 2 people in this waiting room) and she finally says "He will have to re evaluate you you'll need an appointment". Very rude disrespectful for both encounters. I thought about it. Cancelled the 2nd appt for my ear infection and will never go back to FastMed as long as this Toxic Staff is working there. They won't miss me and I won't miss them.I ended up going to Mercy where the staff was "super nice" even said I hope you feel better. The Dr took his time and said the drops could not help as I have an inner ear infection. Those drops are only if there is an infection on your skin on outer part of ear not in the canal. He prescribed antibiotics. Thank goodness I switched. He did not rush and told me to call him if I was not significantly better in 2 days. What a much better experience!!!

Having cut my finger on a broken glass I headed to FastMed. I got in with a minimum wait. Everyone was courteous and professional. I was given a choice between stitches or glue. The pros and cons of each method were explained and I appreciated being given a choice. My wound is healing nicely.

I made an appointment for the same day. Easy to make an appointment on line. Got me in very quickly. Each person I encountered was very kind. The nurse and doctor attended to the needs of my appointment in a very timely and kind manner.

In Out Done! I had a severe pain in my back and wasn't sure of the source. The PA diagnosed it correctly as a torn muscle and didn't do a lot of expensive testing!

Horrible experience. Waited for 30 minutes, only for the receptionist to tell me that she could not get my son's Medicaid to go through. She told me that I would need to call Medicaid and that she could not hold my son's place in the line without an insurance verification. Meanwhile he is very ill and asleep on the bench. I called the insurance company and there was not a problem with the insurance at all. I verified the policy number and everything was good. It is unreasonable that incompetent staff should stand as a barrier to my child receiving care. We will not be coming back here.

I am a PE teacher at a local middle school. The two other coaches that I work with and I all developed the same sickness at the same time. However, their doctors gave them antibiotics and they are already completely healed, while neither of the two FastMed reps (one doctor and one PA) that I saw would prescribe me antibiotics, and I'm still sicker than hell! They said that I did not need them. I strongly suggest that if you want medicine that can actually help you heal, DO NOT go to FastMed as they obviously do not want to prescribe antibiotics, even when they are needed and appropriate for the sickness!

The staff was courteous and getting into seeing the Dr was very timely. The Dr himself is where I have a complaint. He would not and did not listen to me explaining my symptoms. Also he asked me if a place on my head itched. I told him no it doesn't itch at all! So he sent in a prescription for itch medication. I have been once more since then and saw the same Dr. He ignored my symptoms once more and did not and wouldn't listen so i went to Mission er. He wants to tell you what he thinks and you telling him anything different since it is your body he says is insulting him. I won't go back and this center will hurt if they don't get a Dr who is understanding of his patients and at least listens to anything they have to say. This Dr made hus mind before I spoke. Don't go!

The PA I saw was excellent. I come from a major healthcare institution in NYC. He was professional, articulate and well informed about Covid. The front desk took precautions accordingly and professional as well. A great experience. Thank you

Gotta give em five stars! Went in on a rainy afternoon bc I needed an xray to confirm a broken hand. Service was friendly and fairly fast. Staff were competent and helpful. Overall a positive experience with reasonable upfront pricing. Honestly, a breath of fresh air!

Our experience here was very good. Kirsten at the front desk was super helpful and knew how to work with our insurance. Shawn was our NP, and he was very kind and spent plenty of time answering questions for us. Our tech was great too, though I can’t remember his name. We didn’t wait long to be seen, care was good, and everyone was friendly!

Nothing Fast or Urgent about this place. Waited for over an hour in an empty waiting room while my wife's vomiting in a bag. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else. It's not URGENT care when you're booked up with non-URGENT appointments. That's called a doctor's office. Prioritize your patient's based on acuity!

Great service and advice. We arrived Saturday morning of a holiday weekend. There was only 1 person ahead of us. The Medical Assistant saw us within 15 minutes of arrival (which was fine - our issue was important but not life threatening) and asked good questions. The doctor saw us within 5 minutes, asked good questions and without being alarming recommended we go to the hospital ER. Turns out my husband had a blood clot in his lung and in his leg. We are glad we went to FastMed and we are glad they gave us the timely and expert service they did. We will use them again. This was the very first time we have ever gone to urgent care.

I dont like doing this, but I feel others should know what they are walking into. Especially if someone feels sick. A place like this should make their patients feel welcome and comfortable. Whether the front desk lady and the medical assistant was having a bad day or they are just miserable, I don’t know, but they were so unwelcoming. When I was taking my eye test the medical assistant made me feel so stupid when I didn’t hear him correctly. His whole demeanor was so off! Not once would he nor the front desk smile. It made me feel so uncomfortable! Front desk also needs to communicate better. If someone calls to ask you if you take cash, please inform the caller/patient you don’t have change, so they won’t have to leave to get exact dollar amount. Really, the only positive thing I have to say about my visit is they were quick.
