These people are so UNETHICAL THAT THEY NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!!! I was recently in the hospital for almost two months. During that time, these people sent me a picture, via text, of what was left in my storage unit after a break-in. I was paying RENTAL INSURANCE, to them, every month with my monthly payment. It's been a NIGHTMARE DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE TO GET A CLAIM FILED OR ANY HONEST ASSISTANCE FROM THEM! I filed a police report with the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department and they investigated. I had initially asked, several times I might add, for the facility to PLEASE HELP ME BY VIEWING THEIR CAMERA FOOTAGE and to provide the insurance company information to start the claim process. They ignored the request until after the investigation started. They told the Detective assigned to my case that they didn't have any footage they could share because A STORM HIT THEIR CAMERAS AND THEY HAD NO BACKUP SYSTEM...... BOTTOM LINE... NO FOOTAGE AVAILABLE TO ASSIST!!! The "insurance company information" they gave to me was FRAUDULENT AND A TRAIL OF THREE DIFFERENT COMPANIES THAT HAD NOTHING IN THEIR DATA BASE FOR L&R Storage! So, I've had to get my attorney involved in the matter. My THEORY IS THAT THE BREAK-IN WAS AN INSIDE JOB! I can't discuss the details regarding my theory but I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO DEAL WITH THEM AND THEIR UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!!

Would absolutely recommend for your storage needs! Friendly and helpful staff, very prompt and professional. Security on all buildings to ease your mind of theft. Not having a gate makes it so much easier to go to and from your unit if you work late hours.

Wife and I are in process of moving to the greater Asheville area and we picked L & R to store things as we inch forward. Unit is clean, everything feels secure and I particularly appreciate the easy communication (email and text, both ways) when necessary.

These storage units are located off 1923 Smokey Park highway in Candler, I've personally had a unit for 3 and 1/2 years. the owner has very much worked with me on my payments and helping me keep my storage very grateful

Old buildings. My furniture ended up with mold. No security. Unit was broken into, lock cut. One or 2 cameras that didn't capture anything. Luckily nothing was taken. Just rifling through boxes. Lowest price. Guess that's what happens.
