I've been to Walgreens pharmacy on Patton, Merrimon, and New Leceister. But Candler is where it's at! Their staff is super nice, the people up front welcome you when you come in, and the pharmacy staff is so helpful and quick. I've never waited for longer than 10 minutes to pick up but I'm usually in and out. I'm so grateful for this particular Walgreens.Especially in comparison the hell that is Patton Ave Walgreens. I love visiting this Walgreens with my kids. The staff is always so friendly and nice. The pharmacy in particular has always been very helpful in meeting my needs and answering my questions.

This is BY FAR the WORST Walgreens I’ve ever been to! Not only is the staff as friendly as a box of razor blades but it never fails every time I go in there there’s always a customer complaining about something the pharmacy messed up. They’ve simply “not gotten” at least 5 prescriptions that I KNOW were sent. It’s obvious they have absolutely no clue how to do anything other than using the cash register. Any questions you have I guarantee they won’t be able to answer them. They always say , “I don’t know.” They make no attempt to help you in any way, shape, or form. Customer service is not a priority or even something that’s considered. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will NEVER go to this Walgreens ever again.

Im new to the Asheville area and this is my closest drugstore to where live in Candler. I've only been a few times but found that the staff were actually quite helpful polite and nice. They look like they are having fun and enjoy working there. Which to me is a good sign. I read the other reviews and must conclude that this location is under new management. The IVR system Is quite annoying, but aren't they all ? I just start pounding zeros until I can talk to someone real.

If I could rate a zero I would. The pharmacy staff was very rude and neglectful to me and other customers, cursing behind the desk and slamming the phone down. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time.

Cindy was amazing! We struggled with my insurance for almost an hour and she was a saint the entire time. She was transferred 4 times and I’m sure I was not the most patient. Thank you Cindy!!! Lifesaver!

The pharmacist was amazing, I received my covid booster. She was really nice and easy on the eyes. I think I should return for any vaccine possible.

Have a RX that is on a autofill status. Went to pick up told it would be ready in 20 min. Not ready for the second time on autofill. what is the use of autofill if not used. On lunch break and since they keep bankers hours I will have to try again tomorrow on my lunch break. going to switch to another pharmacy after this. Very unprofessional. Don't have it together and always an excuse of I dont usually work here.

I made an appointment for flu vaccine. Had problems checking in because of slow computer. Waited 39 minutes for the shot, beyond appt time. Techs seemed unconcerned . I will not be getting my meds here.

Scheduled 3 pm flu vaccine for my daughter yesterday at this location. We stood in line until 3:25 and when it was our turn to check in , the lady states she is going to lunch and we would need to move to the back of the other line which was even longer .She saw us standing there and the nice thing to do would have been to tell us right away. . She was unapologetic and annoyed by everyone. I do not recommend this Walgreens. I have never had a bad experience at other locations.

Dont bother witth a vaccine appointment here if you're on any type of schedule. The appointment times don't matter AT ALL, and you'll still have to wait 30+ minutes in the normal pharmacy line.
