just a dg. same low quality crap to get ya by at rip off prices. They have few deals when you do a little math for most products. What was once a good store people relyed on, is no longer what they were and no longer trusted.

All the 5 star reviews for this place are from podunk morons who are either related to someone who works there or lives nearby.
I mean most of the 5 star have nothing attached to them, hell one even said "this is for the dollar general in Clyde" LOL
That's the competence level of the human beings leaving these reviews.
This store is constantly disorganized, dirty, and unwelcoming.
Wether it's product thrown about the store, totes in the middle of aisles or completely blocking them off, or lack of urgency when the line is 10+ people long with only 2 registers (the self check out never works either because apparently DG invests in tech from 15+ years ago so it's always broken or off). One of which being ran by an absolute dinosaur of a person, no offense to the guy but he NEEDS to retire.
In fact the entire store needs to be shut down, completely remodeled, and get entirely new staff hired.
Hopefully with the one opening up a mile down the road means this one will shut down.

New evening manager sits in office talking on the phone while 1 employee has a long line of customers, stock was all in the isles. Came in next morning to see Mr Glenn the hard working senior manager putting up that stock. This new generation Z is lazy. District manager needs to know,All she does is sit in office.

I live one mile from the Dollar General 6084 Pigeon Rd Canton, NC 28716. Lewis has always been super rude to me for no reason. Today I was checking out something rang up incorrectly. He acted like it was my fault and cussed at me once I told him it wasn't correct. That is very UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. Customers like me that spend $300 to $400 a month there is the ones helping paying his salary. I would rather drive 4 extra miles to Walmart instead of dealing with him. The store is always a wreck and you can't get a shopping kart down the aisles. All he cares about is a paycheck and going home instead of pleasing the customers that keep the store open. Something needs to be done.
