If I could leave a 0 star review, I would.
I usually stop by this Shell station during late-night and early-morning hours, and while it’s in a convenient location, the way this store is being run raises serious concerns.
There are some hygiene issues that need to be addressed. For example, I’ve noticed gnats flying around the fountain drink area on more than one visit. I want to be clear, the night shift employee is constantly working hard and doing what he can to keep things clean, but it seems like he's being stretched too thin, and the problem may be deeper than what one person can handle alone.
Staffing is another major concern. There’s only one employee working the entire night shift. I’ve seen him trying to manage everything alone i.e., ringing up customers, restocking, cleaning, all while handling busy rushes. It’s a lot for one person. He mentioned he’s asked for help multiple times but was told that corporate doesn’t allow additional staff which honestly sounds like an excuse from management to avoid hiring.
Even more troubling is that he said he’s been threatened multiple times while working alone at night. That’s not just unfair, it’s unsafe. No one should be put in that kind of position just because they work the overnight shift.
To make matters worse, I’ve come in during the mornings and seen this same employee still working while managers are just sitting around eating or scrolling on their phones instead of helping. That reflects incredibly poorly on leadership.
This store needs urgent improvement from better staffing and support to cleaner conditions and stronger safety protocols. I truly hope corporate sees this and steps in before something worse happens.

Clean gas station and friendly people. No signs or anything saying I need to pay inside. Dude was dismissive at the fact that they need some up lol

After Hurricane Helene, this gas station was remarkably well-organized! They made the rounds through the long line of cars to let everyone know it was cash only. The staff was exceptionally friendly while handling our cash. We were truly impressed by their efficiency. The ladies used walkie-talkies to coordinate with the person inside, ensuring the correct pumps were turned on. Thank you for your excellent organization and patience!

Absolutely the worst customer service from their assistant manager Heather! So bad, I'm contacting the better business bureau. I was going to pay cash, she told me I had to wait 5 minutes. I said fine, then she proceeded to tell me I needed a attitude check just by standing there. No one was in line. She told me I could go to another gas station, which I did. Go to BP across the street!

This gas station shares its space with a McDonalds restaurant. I was able to grab a couple of Red Bulls and some kiddo snacks. Staff was pleasant, and I was in/out in no time. Thanks

Easy access with a good selection but most importantly-- they have Zeb (young man) working here! When I asked about his day, he mentioned working his third shift straight and wasn't complaining. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't asked. Zeb's hard work makes this THE place to stop for fuel and snacks. Thanks Zeb!
