This is not my normal pharmacy, but I have to use it for my father in law. I have found each time I call, it is extremely long hold times, which is understandable due to the fact it is hard to get employees, however, when I have waited over 20 minutes and the staff is rude and not helpful, makes it hard to leave a good review when I have never been treated in a decent manner from this staff.

My husband and I went in this evening for our Flu shots at 5:00 and realized quickly this was such a busy time. We sat and listened to the abuse so many of the customers gave them because either their meds were not ready or the insurance wasn't paying and even that a physician needed calling because the script wasn't correct. The pharmacist who gave us our vaccinations was so kind and full of information for us even though he was so busy and kept apologizing for the delay.My heart went out to all of them. They all need a gold star that's for sure!! I'm glad they are the pharmacy we use!

My dog has cancer and this is his 8th concurrent med right now. This is my first trip to this pharmacy. The prescription was transferred from another Walgreens. This location filled it and the bottle said “see direction sheet” I look at the 6 pt font page and a half “directions”. NO specific directions except take in morning with food. I called another Walgreens in Swansboro that pulled up the info and they told me it needs to be titrated and all meds should be taken in only taken 10 days. The directions specific and complicated enough that they had to be written down. Pharmacist kind and helpful at Swansboro location.Called customer service and reported the concern.This locations pharmacist called me telling me it’s not their responsibility to give me directions and that the original location never sent the directions. I told her if this conversation is going to be one where you make excuses it will not go well. She said “it’s common practice” to fill transferred prescriptions this way” I said “common to fill it with no clear directions, give it to the customer and expect the patient to know to call the original pharmacy for directions?”Never again. I’d drive to a neighboring town to avoid this place even though it’s just minutes from my home.

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to, say prescriptions are ready when they're not and seem not to care about whether they get things right or not. They're actually rude and dismissive which is really bad when you're trying to get a much needed prescription. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Not happy I have a coupon for name-brand amlodipine at $0 but the young girl said they don't carry the name brand. So another punch for me. I don't have insurance it was a ridiculous $9000 ded.. then NC took what I did have out of the system $17 is a lot for me when I have four others to get. How does a leading pharmacy not carry a name-brand drug

When it comes to the pharmacy, it is the worst. I had a prescription called into Walgreens. I looked on the App to make sure the prescription was ready for pickup. On the App, there is an option to view coupons for the medicine. I clicked on a coupon and it noted to give the Walgreens personnel. I did just that only to be told the coupon was not valid.... it was on the WALGREENS APP. I showed the drive-thru associate how I came upon the coupon. She then said it was not in their system and I could call Walgreens....really? I'm at Walgreens... I left without my medicine. I moved all my prescriptions from Walgreens and thought I would give them another try. NEVER AGAIN!! Small hometown pharmacies are the way to go... BYE-BYE WALGREENS AND YOUR INCOMPETENCE.

Pharmacy texts that prescription ready, to only have filled half the script and ask me to come back in 30 min. I wouldn't rate, but this sort of interaction with the pharmacy is routine.

I had a very bad experience at this Walgreens. At night there is always an arrogant man, the change is almost thrown on the floor, Please do not arrive at night if you do not want to have a bad experience

I do not use store apps. They want to charge me more because I do not use the Walgreens app. I will never shop here again.

A person in our group had a bad reaction to a bug bite. We had already been to the pharmacy at Walmart in Swainsboro, and he didn't even look at it. The pharmacists at this Walgreens not only took the time to look at the bite but took them to the counter where the proper medication was, was personable, had a great sense of humor, and explained signs to look for that would indicate further assistance was needed.
