Very disappointed in the house we rented through this company. We rented “Perfect Alignment”. The cleaning crew didn’t get out of the house until 4:30PM and our checkin was at 4PM. We had 2 small children in the car and called the company to inquire about getting into the house. They basically told us tough luck and that the cleaning company is very thorough, which is why they’re taking longer. Unacceptable in my opinion. When we get in the house, the clean dishes weren’t unloaded from the dishwasher, there were dead bugs on the staircase, hair in the main shower, and one of the bathrooms was missing a role of toilet paper. No beach supplies like chairs etc were provided.I think the worst part is the lack of upkeep with this house. The walls were disgusting and looked like they had not been painted in 20 years. For what they charge for this, I’d expect them to take some pride in the home and maintain it better. Also there are no shade or blinds on the sliding door in the master bedroom. We’re typically not picky people or ones to write a bad review, but this was pretty unacceptable. We will not be renting through this company again.We even left the rental a day early as with the poor weather the last place we wanted to be was stuck in that house.

We stayed at the Kraken during a family event and everything was as expected and advertised. The property has mostly King size beds which worked perfectly for the age or our family. Multiple ocean front bedrooms with plenty of outdoor deck space. Clean and tidy, well decorated.Would we stay here again ? Yes !

Location, location, location! We loved being so very close to the ocean. November was a great time to visit for solitude, no crowds. We took some walks where we were the only ones on the beach.

The experience with Carolina Beach Realty was very good. The interactions and response with team members were very quick and helpful. They responded quickly to requests. The home that was air bnbed for the weekend was clean and it served the purpose for a gathering of family members.

We had a very good experience renting the cozy Kure beach house. Wonderful trip. We usually don't rent a house . We always do the condo / resort type. We wanted a bigger place this year. This house is perfect. It is very clean. It is a very short walk to the beach. It has everything a family needs for a perfect stay. Private pool , private hot tub, five bedroom , three baths , garage , extra fridge , six tvs , washer/ dryer, beautiful viewsand so much more.A very pleasant and quiet neighborhood. Very close to the beautiful Fort Fisher area. Very close to ferry. We will definitely be back to stay here. We loved it.

We checked in on Saturday. The code that they sent to get the keys did not work. The office closed at 3 but I couldn't check in until 4. I had to try calling the after hours number but I could not get through. I tried 5 different numbers for the office and went to the office and tried to catch someone. I even checked with the tattoo parlor nextdoor to see if they had a contact number. I ended up getting the phone number on Facebook to let me call the after hours line and they texted me a new code that worked. Everything else that week was great but it was a stressful start to the week.

The furniture is completely worn out.VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!!Multiple bugs crawling around. Will never stay here again! The amount you pay to stay I expected more.

We informed her of our cancelation policy and then we never heard back from her. We texted her pre-arrival information and were met with great hostility calling us names because we would not cancel her reservation. Airbnb offers trip insurance that would have definitely covered her situation but she wasresentful to us and claimed we should have reached out to them to follow up. She took our parking pass home and mailed it back to the HOA instead of us. She also threatened to sue us which we did not appreciate. We are sympathetic to her situation, however, we do not make exceptions to our cancelation policy. We urge Janelle to consider purchasing trip insurance in the future and to be kinder to hosts that are following their policies.My responseCarolina Beach Realty,I was actually waiting for this to appear on social media and you did not disappoint me.I was going to keep my experience and opinion of your company to myself.I was never going to mention the dilapidated condition of your rental property. The entrance staircase is dark with very stained carpet. You must walk up 68 steps without touching anything.It was filthy, the furniture was sticky with mildew sweat, bathrooms were not clean and the pair of underwear underneath the bed upon our arrival was wonderful.Unlike yourself (a company), I (your customer) do not gain pleasure from public humiliation.Let me further explain…I knew a company that would treat a guest as horrible as you treated me, would continue to practice and exhibit the same behavior. You clearly have shown your true colors. I am sorry I did not receive your emailed response. I was in the hospital. I thought you might have had the courtesy to make a phone call instead. You knew the circumstances and did nothing. Further more your only attempt to contact me was through one (1) email I could not access. Please make a better attempt in the future to respond to your clients using all methods of communication.People also become increasingly stressed with life threatening situations. I am sorry I was upset when addressing you. I made clear to you I would never rent from your company again. There was no need to contact me again and send the above message.I have rented many wonderful vacation homes. I have never received a single complaint from any owner let alone a company that is supposed to serve their clients best interest.
