I spent two nights at this location recently and would definitely come back to stay again. It was a very positive experience. The ocean view suite was spacious and extremely clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated Lenoir and Sharon’s hospitality at the fire pit and tiki bar. The hotel has easy access to the beach and restaurants/shops. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.

Second time we stayed here for an overnight. Arrived at night so we couldn't appreciate the view. Rooms are clean and the staff is pleasant. We left early in the morning before breakfast was available, so I can't rate the food.

Very unfriendly person at checkin. Room next to elevator so very noisy. Shower barely worked. Housekeeping very loud in the morning. This Inn has gone downhill.

Right on the beach! Clean room. Entire hotel is clean. Free breakfast and coffee. Outdoor bar over looking the ocean. I def recommend the Hampton Inn.

Spacious rooms, comfy beds. The walls are thick in this hotel which is great for drowning out sound. We stayed facing the city and only heard one vehicle pass. The lights go straight into the room so you'll want to close the curtains well or be blinded by the light when you sleep. Breakfast was good

Fantastic beach front hotel. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was large and clean! Breakfast was typical Continental, but a good variety.
Safety: Very secure. Key cards required at every entry door.
Walkability: Very walkable with shops and restaurants nearby.
Food and drinks: Tiki bar on site.
Noteworthy details: Onsite Laundry.

My friend and I stayed last minute and it was a great decision! Definitely pricier than the motels nearby, but well worth it for us since we had a balcony with ocean view. We could watch the dolphins from the balcony! Loved the easy access to the boardwalk, restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend visiting Carolina Beach in the off season.

Rooms: Rooms small and TV selections were poor. No microwave in the room. Poor sound proofing as unable to sleep due to loud kids and conversations

The people who work here were very nice and accommodating. The location on the beach is fantastic. Walking and sitting out on board walk is so beautiful it made up for the not great stuff ...Rooms need serious upgrade. The shower has no pressure, carpets look dirty and stained. The ceiling has water stains and large cracks. The worst thing are the beds. Matress had no support and sheets felt thin and worn out. Terrible bed for anyone with back or neck issues. Our room on 5th floor over looking tiki bar had a great view and hearing sound of ocean was a treat. However, one of the nights we could not sleep at all due to loud rowdy, fowl mouth young men partying and fighting past midnight. Do not recommend and would not return unless the hotel updates carpeting and invests in decent quality mattresses and bedding.

Nice hotel in an quaint area. Restaurants, shopping just a short walk outside of the hotel.
Nearby activities: Ice cream, pizza, and whatever else you're looking for close by.
