Susie was very unpleasant and rude on several occasions. Very prejudice and racist as it relates to her approach handling my taxes. I received an email stating she was uncomfortable filing my taxes although I file with h n r block every year. This office is very unprofessional and the environment was very hostile and rude towards customers. I would not recommend this office to anyone who is local in the carrboro or chapel hill area. You business should be appreciated and valued somewhere else and will not be valued here at this company.

Took my taxes to HR Block for the first time this year. The tax preparation was filed completely wrong despite bringing in previous year taxes filed properly. I was referred to an expert at HR Block who confirmed that the taxes was filed improperly but they did not have the expertise to correct the problem. Spoke with customer service multiple times (e mail is not permitted) who informed me I would receive a full refund on money spent for tax preparation but this refund has never arrived and despite multiple reassurances that "leadership" would contact me, no contact from HR Block has occurred at any time. It has cost me thousands of dollars to correct the situation by an outside accounting firm.Mistakes will happen but HR Block does not stand by their word to stand by their client (despite also purchasing audit protection plan at additional cost).
