I love being a member of SECU! Always friendly customer service and people. They make transaction fast and easy! I’ve been with SECU for a few years now but will definitely stay with them for the rest of my life.

Well I just want to say thanks a lot my car had broke down on me 3 weeks ago so I tried for a loan to see if you would help me out considering my situation tring to get a vehicle so I can go back to work but that didn't happen and I so desperately needed one but now I'm staying with my sister for the past 2 weeks and away from my family as I mentioned that was 3 weeks ago so now the past monday I find out that me and my family have to find another place to stay all this in less than one month so in all tring to find a place to stay with no vehicle is no fun so I'll guess I'll see how all this play out or we would just be out of luck so thank you for listening to my story but in the end no one cares

I spoke with Brittany Melle and felt extremely profiled. I offered 2 forms of ID from the DMV and a birth certificate and she said that wasn't enough for identification. She said I would need another photo ID or I would have to go to an atm and make the deposit by cash only. When I spoke with her supervisor she told me my ID and Birth Certificate should of been enough. So I would like to know why she wouldn't accept it

ATM cash/check deposits which is twice as fast as speaking to the teller (although they are all very nice). Also you can deposit into ATM after hours and still possibly have immediate access to funds.

I'm not a member of a credit union, I'm a USAA banker as a veteran. I had a new client write a check to my business for services but because of her behavior I was skeptical of the check but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and took it. Instead of depositing into my USAA account to avoid overdraft fees I drove to the Carrboro State Employees Credit Union to cash the check. I was greeted nicely enough but was turned over to Kyle who just said "there is nothing I can do at this time". I asked what can I do to cash this check? He replied "there is nothing I can do at this time". I said this is one of your clients that's written a check what can you do? He replied "there is nothing I can do at this time". I asked if the funds were available again the same rude response, "there is nothing I can do at this time"I said you're not answering my questions who can I talk to? He sent me to a very nice woman that explained I could get a cashiers check made out to my business. We walked up to the teller line and another teller said "we can't give a cashiers check at this time". I asked so the funds are not available? The woman said no, I asked if I could keep coming back trying to cash it and she said yes. Why couldn't Kyle or the other teller give me this information? I've been in business 35 years and never got this type of disrespect or runaround from tellers. Are they just robots only able to shoo people away? I would never get this type of treatment from USAA! You won't hear me recommending this bank to any of my clients!

Bad service. All the other branches are I am greeted fast and friendly. But here never fails, I am always regretting when I come.
