Amazing store! You can find all sorts of treasures, raw materials, and really high quality antique and vintage costumes and clothing! If you are a fiber or mixed media artist, cosplayer, crafter, costume designer, or just someone who likes finding cool and unique things, this place is a must go!!! I found a really high quality linen robe for only five dollars!! I am definitely gonna go back during Halloween season

Super cool store! I love stores like this- so much to look at and a variety of items. Uniforms, Halloween costumes, books, shoes, tactical goods, etc. Truly a surplus and is a fun treasure hunt experience.

If you know what you’re looking for, you can find some really cool stuff here. However, be wary, as he is known to embellish/simply make up things in order to sell outright fake/prop antiques/surplus as authentic to unassuming customers as authentic.

This is the oddest, cryptid-est place I've ever been. I absolutely loved it. My friend and I also had a conversation with Sid on the way out and he's so interesting. Please, just stop by for the vibe if you can. (I will say though, I'm not sure why yelp says it's wheelchair accessible -- this is probably one of the least accessible places in Carborro.)

What a fun, unique store! I think people who comment on the character of Sid aren't really thinking about who the dude actually is. He's a unique personality, and says weird things because he thinks they're funny to say. You can tell he's not being serious. The lady working in the costume department is super sweet. We could've talked to her for hours about her life experience.A lot of people drive by this store, thinking "Hey, this place looks interesting, I should go here sometime!" - well, why don't you? I don't think I will EVER find another store quite like this one.

Coolest store ever, it is impossible to leave without finding something you absolutely need. Not to mention Sid is very welcoming and very knowledgeable about everything in his store!

Walked in and asked the guy if he was Sid. He answered, " I hope so, I'm wearing his underwear". Knew right there I was in the right place. Kitchy ain't the word, eclectic ain't either. The place has its own smell too. Bring a flashlight. The stuff is everywhere. Floor to ceiling. Aisles throughout just kinda happen. Sid's doing it his way. Buy something and you'll always remember where it came from.
