Two thirds of the cafe power outlets are nonfunctional due to an electrical issue, meaning you probably wont get one because everyone else crams into the single bar that has working power. It's been like this for over a month. I asked an employee for an update about this today, and she had a very rude attitude and just weirdly told me that they didn't work because of an electrical issue... as a response to me asking when the electrical issue would be fixed. Very strange. Then I asked again if she knew when it would be fixed, and she said she said she didn't, and once again angrily reiterated that it was an electrical issue, and said they need to get an electrician. I'll edit my review when I get a real answer about this. A giant corporation should be able to provide an electrician to fix something in the busiest area of the store.

The old location used to be my home base. The café setup there was my favorite. This new one is okay.

This new location is set up beautifully. The atmosphere is welcoming, with plenty of displays for every kind of reader, as well as comfy chairs placed here and there throughout the store. I bought way too many books there and will be back soon for more.

Beautiful. Large. Little of everything....which makes it possible that they don't have enough of any one genre. This felt more like a show room. A beautiful showroom. Many of the gifts and stationary were a bit expensive. My friend and I were also on the hunt for a game. Found one. Again, not a lot of choices. Clean. Plenty of places to sit.

Beautiful store. Very busy, wide selection.1 - no chairs near entrance. Most chairs near front were full. If someone has limited mobility, bring a walker with a seat.2. Four bathrooms. Two are broken. Lengthy line for two unisex toilets.

The new Barnes and Noble cafe is set up poorly compared to the old location. We walked in today and noticed six 4-person tables with only 2 persons seating at each. Each table is a four-person table and therefore 12 possible seats were unused/wasted. Therefore, we had to leave and go to another cafe that provides flexible seating. Barnes and Noble needs to replace the tables with smaller 2-person tables that can be easily moved around and rearranged to form space for smaller and larger parties.

This new location of Barnes and Nobles is splendid. The layout is roomy and the hardcover features being in the front is a plus. We like the young adult section as well as the interior design collection. Love the new location on Kildaire.

Parking in this location is a beast. The layout of the store is terrible. I used to be able to see over the shelves and find the section I needed quickly. Now, I can't find anything in the new location. I wandered around for 15 or 20 minutes and I left without buying anything. Additionally, the bathrooms are... weird. Its hard to know if the door is actually locked because there isn't a physical lock- just a button that beeps. Does the beep mean it locked? Who knows! The sign says to press it, so I pressed it, but I didn't hear a locking sound. The door is too far to hold the door shut if someone tries to come in. Barnes and Noble used to be my favorite store to browse, but this new place just gives me anxiety.

The new store is BEAUTIFUL and seems to stock every single book I have recently thought about reading and much more. This place is a wonderland for book lovers. I also enjoyed the new, larger cafe space. It’s a nice place to get some work done or relax. My only issue is that it can be hard to find seats because there are a lot of people there. I love that there’s a new free rewards program as well. The paid program isn’t worth it for me because I don’t spend enough to offset the cost. Now I can earn rewards by doing any shopping at all. All the employees were very friendly and helpful, both in the bookstore and cafe. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying the cozy atmosphere!

I'm always a fan of bookstores, and this Barnes & Noble is no exception. I was recently shopping at the Trader Joe's in the same plaza and figured I might as well stop in. It was super busy so it's great to see a lot of people buying books this holiday season. Their Barnes & Noble café was definitely crowded- plenty of people working and reading and just hanging out with their coffee. The store itself is super large. I think it was spread out and nicely, it was easy to find the new releases, they had a huge non-fiction section which kind of surprised me. I also appreciated that they had an entire section dedicated to Sarah J Maas because she is the queen. I would love for them to do more sales once in a while, there were a few bestsellers that were 50% off. Overall I think this is a great book store to check out if you're in the area. Plenty of friendly employees were around helping the folks who needed it.

They don’t price match. So I always have to order from Amazon and wait. When the book is in stock at B&N an I go a pick it right up for my reading pleasure. It’s really unfortunate.

Loved this experience with my 4 year old! Their kids section is amazing, beware though, the Lego displays are incredible but super tempting. Also, the cook book section is a dream! Definitely a go to for a rainy day activity!

My wife and I came here for a book signing. The line was insane, going back and forth between the front and back of the store several times. The employees did an excellent job of keeping the aisles clear, though, and of coordinating so many people. The store is clean, bright, and inviting. I don't know if it's just been a while since I was in a Barnes & Noble, or if this one has a bigger selection than I'm used to, or both. But, this place had an impressive selection of books. I was especially pleased with the children and young adult sections as I was thinking about my granddaughters. They are still young but as a grandfather, it's important for me to plan ahead and spoil them :-) They had a nice selection of reduced items, too, and some of the prices were quite low for the products being offered. Overall I have nothing but accolades for this store and give them 5 stars.
