The entire staff here is incredible. They are always super friendly and you can tell they all love dogs which makes a huge difference when talking about the care of your dog. We drive out of the way to this location specifically for the people.

Camp Bow Wow is a great place that my dog enjoys going as well as I am excited to send her there. We've done mostly the doggie daycare and every time has been a fantastic experience! The staff is very personable and is great with the dogs (even challenging ones). We've used the overnight stays several times and it is great knowing that when I come home tired from a trip that she will also be tired! I know she's in good hands as they communicate if they need something and the availability to check in via cameras on the long stays. Overall fantastic!

Camp Bow Wow Cary is the best place to care for your, and mine, dog(s)! The staff love each and every dog as their own. Our dog has spent daycare and boarding time at this location for 7 years, he always comes home happy and sleepy so you know they’ve had plenty of playtime. They offer fun seasonal activities which are fun for them and you get a cute memory item. They offer bathing and other personal one on one activities. I highly recommend Cary Camp Bow Wow!!

3-star review because i’ve never had a horrible experience here but everything has been subpar. My dog has been going here for boarding for quite sometime. This past weekend there was a miscommunication between my vet & I about the influenza vaccine. They never scheduled me for a second booster and I didn’t realize he had to get one. Following the morning of his boarding I called to get his vaccination records(which I understand is important) and then someone at the vet informed me that he only had one shot. I had to call camp bow wow and explain to them that there was a miscommunication and he only got the one shot. Now they just told me he couldn’t go in when I was about to leave for vacation almost causing me to miss it. Now I completely understand that vaccines are important, but before when it was on backorder they didn’t seem to have much of a problem letting him in. On the weekends your dog isn’t out all day anyways because they are closed for half the day and I understand that there is an outbreak of influenza in dogs, but I felt like there was something they could have done to accommodate me so I didn’t have to struggle finding someone to watch him & be late to leave for my weekend trip. He stays in a room because he is a larger dog, and maybe taking him out separately/ not around other dogs would have been a better solution than just telling me goodluck and we basically don’t care. I just feel like they don’t go above and beyond. I was literally in tears because it was a miscommunication. One time i also asked for him to be bathed and paid almost 75 dollars in upcharges for him to come home ratty looking. I could’ve taken him to the groomer for that price and he would’ve gotten a lot more done. At this point I think i’d rather find a dog sitter for this price who will care more.

Do not waste your time on the evaluation if your dog is shy at first. The 10-15 minute evaluation is not enough time to determine the behavior of a dog. She was in a new space with new smells, people and other dogs. I thought she would be introduced to the humans first for a little. You could see on the cameras that she was taken back to the play area and immediately dogs started being introduced to her. She was failed within 10 minutes because she was nervous and I was told the staff does not have time for that. We have since gone to another dog daycare that does a 3 hour evaluation and takes the time to get to know your dog. She passed that evaluation with no issues. You missed out on getting to know a great pup!

Camp Bow Wow Cary is amazing! The staff is always welcoming and willing to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. They can handle any kind of demeaner that a dog has from hyper, anxious to cool calm and collected! They are welcoming of all dog breeds which is something that I love, especially with having a German Shepherd. Love being able to access the Camper Cameras to check in on my pup throughout the day. Not only do you see all the fun the pups have but also all the love that they get from the workers, which truly means a lot! I would recommend Camp Bow Wow Cary to anyone who has a dog!

We loved Camp Bow Wow Durham. We were sad to see it close, but wish the owners our best in their new ventures. We appreciate this Cary franchise also, and while Durham was the more convenient location, we consider it worth the drive!

My puppy, Moose, had a great first day at Camp Bow Wow! I love how the team made his first day special, welcoming him with a nice poster, introducing him to other dogs, and writing up a fun report card (I personally enjoyed the nice notes and unique responses). Camp Bow Wow made both Moose and I feel like a member of the family, and I'm excited to watch him grow into a confident, playful, and happy dog because of the socialization he'll get at day care. I also look forward to him being so exhausted from all the play - a tired puppy is a good puppy :)

The staff was friendly, however I was told the "interview" process would take over an hour going over his personality, temperment, and introductions with other dogs. I explained my dogs anxiousness when I was checking in and how we're working with a trainer so he's feeling more confident which is why we tried doggy daycare. Within 10 minutes my dog was introduced to the whole group and then returned back to me. No time to get comfortable with his surroundings or other dogs.
