Food Lion is a local grocery store that has undergone some recent improvements, according to customer reviews. While it may have had a rough condition and down-trodden staffing in the past, the store is now seeing better staff and a new layout, though it still seems to be operating on a tight budget. Customers appreciate the store's reasonable prices, great selection, and manageable size. The produce section and deli are well-stocked, and the staff is always friendly and helpful in assisting customers. The store is conveniently located, clean, and well-organized, making it a welcoming option for shoppers. Despite some past challenges, Food Lion appears to be steadily improving and catering to the needs of the middle-class community it serves. Customers seem to value the store's affordability and unique offerings, making it a preferred choice for those looking for a reliable and friendly grocery experience.

I have been going to Harris Teeter for almost 20 years. I have been to Food Lion just a couple times and I have already saved more money than I could possibly imagine! They have definitely changed my mind, and I will be going to Food Lion from here on out!
