Harris teeter is always awful. Not the first time being inconvenienced by them. They sure are pricey for what they offer. All I have to say is Publix would never.

Will not be coming back to this store or any other Harris Teeter. Staff made myself feel unwelcome to this location. My cashier was unhappy to see me. These people have an attitude problem. Will be contacting corporate.

The best Harris Teeter I've seen. You can buy delicious ready-made rolls, pizza and Starbucks coffee.

I have been loyal , long time HT customer. I haven’t had any issues and the staff has been friendly. However , tonight I experienced such bad customer service that I have to write a review.I purchased 2 packs of fresh ground turkey , planning to make some nachos and watch football. When I opened the packs , the smell was very rancid . Annoying but I live close to the store so I took them back. This is when I met Collin, at the service desk. I explained what happened . He asked for the receipt which I did not have because I never keep a receipt . First of all. I’ve never had an issue with HT foods and second , the stores always just scan their barcode then my credit card to search proof of purchase .Well Collin treated me like he didn’t believe I purchased the meat. When I told him to check my VIc card he said he would have to wait until tomorrow and to bro g the meat back . I said I’m not taking that meat back to my house ! He supposedly tried but said it would take a day. When I said it scan the barcode and my credit card , he would not even attempt to do that .. He did call for Mary, who appears to be the store manager . She was very dismissive but then said to go ahead and credit me the refund . When I asked about HT policy to double the refund , she just brushed me off and said to read the policy that I would have to have the receipt , then walked away .This may sound like a benign complaint , but it was the way I was talked to and dismissed that irritates me . Like I said , I have been a loyal HT shopper for years .I do plan to contact the executive office on Monday. Just common courtesy would be nice .

I recently experienced the worst encounter I have ever had in 32 years. An employee named Jobe, at the 270 Grande Heights location in Cary, NC treated my husband and I like we were criminals! The discrimination and experience was disgusting. My Husband and I shop at this location very often, yesterday evening we decided to order food from Asian Garden and grab some juice for our household. Of course we never get just the one thing we initially went in for, we decided to grab two bottles of wine. My husband forgot his wallet in the car (honest mistake, it happens all the time). I was with my daughters picking up a few pumpkin craving kits for the weekend since I saw them and proceeded to check out(my husband already starting ringing up the wine and juice and at the time I didn’t know he forgot his wallet in the car)as I finished my transaction, my husband was calling me over again as he forgot his wallet and was being ID of course due to the wine, no worries I had my wallet and ID so I attempted to show my ID to Jobe ( who already was not friendly at all). Jobe then rudely and aggressively said NO I need his ID, now I understand the laws I do so I wasn’t offended by that. It was the way the end of the transaction went. After Jobe insisted that my 32 year old husband go get his ID (even though I was paying and we are LITERAL repeat customers at this store AND have shown our IDs when needed every time we are asked) my husband left to retreat his ID. While he was grabbing his ID I asked Jobe if I could go ahead and get the other items that was on my husband’s order, NOT the wine. Jobe then said “no, not after what y’all just tried. I’m not going to sell you anything”….. now this is where it escalated because excuse me. My husband and I didn’t “try” to do anything other then make a regular purchase like regular adults. We pride ourselves on honesty and integrity as our daughters ( who were there) look up to us. After getting triggered and now understanding that we have been profiled I was furious ! My husband came back in with his ID and still no apology no genuine Im sorry guys but you I have to make sure ….. nothing!! He felt 100% justified in profiling and discriminating against us. So I asked for Jobe to provide me with his managers information. He told me I can find it on the receipt and I replied “no, I want you to provide it to me”. He did. Now that wasn’t the end as we went to finally purchase the now needed even more wine I turn around to see Jobe talking to what looks like a manager, which seemed weird as I just asked for their information and it was never mentioned that a manager was available at that moment. I then walked over to Jobe and what seemed to be a manager (no they did not come to me to de-escalate) I proceed to tell the manager Tony what happened and he was NO help. I felt even worst as a customer, no empathy, no understanding, no care in the world.

In-store Starbucks was great as were the baristas. Drinks and slice of banana bread were delicious.

Great selections of fresh produce, meat and ready to go meals. Great customer service and very clean environment. We love shopping at HT.

The Starbucks here is not as well staffed with trained people on customer service. There was a gentleman that made the drinks, with a very sour face, and set the drinks on the counter without saying a word. We had to go up and check the cup to see who's it is. If I'm gonna pay $14 for a breakfast sandwich and a nice drink then come on, please make me feel a little special and not like you are mad.

This location is very close by and open late for last minute shopping! The produce section is usually fresher than other stores also, so we go here a lot for our fruit and vegetables.

I had a very pleasant experience at Harris teeter! I was greeted by a wonderful employee named Tyler who helped me find what I needed. He truly went above and beyond even when the store was very busy. Great employees, very helpful, and I will definitely be coming back to this location!

Poorly organized and terrible signage in the store. Spent an extra 20 minutes looking for the candy asleep. (It's in the frozen section fyi, ya know, where it obviously goes....)Would save time driving out of my way to another store where the layout makes sense.

Recently discovered this Harris Teeter store after my Tai Chi class on Saturday morning. The store is well stocked and organized. It's a medium size store, the staff are friendly and helpful. I'm glad to find it on my way home. It really save me a trip.

Great store. I go for their meat and selections of other food items. I also feel safe on their property.

Besides the farmers market, thus is the best place to get my money worth for fresh produce. And those fuel points come to the rescue!!!
