The food here is always good. The service was just a shave under good at our last visit. I was there a few weeks ago and the waiter had an oops which sent iced tea all over the floor. Oh, well, stuff happens. My host wasn't amused since it was his iced tea.

I booked an appointment and mentioned that it would be an overhaul and to book extra time. I got there and the girl got the owner and he starts insulting my hair and me asking me questions like "are you really going to do your hair every day" and "with grow out like this we can tell you don't take care of it". Just insulting a bf cruel. Truth - I've been busy with my kids traveling the country helping my daughter do something awesome so I'm a ball of self neglect. I scheduled this appointment for after her last event for the year to put me back on track. When I said I'm frustrated that they didn't book enough time and that I'm being told all they can do is a touch up today I was told "don't snap at us". I wasn't. This was the second time someone didn't book enough time (albeit in many off and on years). I was then told that they could feel my energy and it comes off at them. Im like, I didn't swear, I wasn't rude, I said I was frustrated. All they did was talk about how customers go off in them all the time and they're not going to take it. I said I work in client services and am a professional and nice person. If I'm frustrated and I express it "I'm frustrated" that isn't a personal attack. If I'm a little cranky or come off that way it isn't personal. Had a "discussion" with kids about laundry on the way over. Thought maybe they'd crack a smile. I was then told that my hostility was being directed at them. It wasn't. I was being really as professional as can be. The girl glared at me the whole time we were talking so I said this isn't going to work. I left and the owner held the door for me. I was not irate, just decided the situation wasn't going to be good match. I turned to speak with him and he shut the door in my face and when I tried to open it to address him he held the handle. I am a professional. I am a mother. I have been going off and on to these people for about 12 years. I swear to God I didn't do anything to them except feel frustrated and communicate this as straightforwardly as possible - after being insulted. I showed up prepared with realistic photos of my own hair and goals. I'm an experienced and flexible client. I have NEVER in my life been treated this badly by any business. I ended up leaving and sat in my car and cried. I was absolutely insulted for not doing what they blocked me from doing today - taking care of myself. To look at me with disgust and ask those questions was appalling. To treat me as unworthy of discussion so much worse. I'm still in the parking lot, reeling from the experience. I'm nice. Like bend over backwards nice to everyone in the service industry. My dog groomer ended up one of my very good friends. I'm pleasant to fast food workers. I value other people and treat them kindly. Again, I'm just sitting here shocked.

Superb. While visiting wife needed to have hair done prior to granddaughters wedding. Very accommodating even though last minute and not being a regular client. Kudos to the staff.

I had been a client for over 10 years.My last visit was horrible and unfortunately I have a 35 year family reunion with my hair .I called the salon and the staff didn’t know how to handle a complaint.They told me the stylist would call me back but when I called back 5 hours later they said to text her???I don’t have her text number???Nor is that professional.I was told she was too busy to talk then that she was making phone calls??If I had been treated like a loyal customer and talked to as a person I wouldn’t be so upset.I was referred to them by a few local business folks years ago. They no longer use them.They used to be a wonderful business.Services: Hairstyling

My first visit to this salon. David was my master stylist and he's just the best ever! His attention to detail is outstanding. Loved my cut, and scheduled my next appt before I left. David is very good and so pleasant. The whole experience was a joy.

I have been going here since we first moved to NC two years ago. It’s always a challenge to find a new stylist when you move. I was fortunate to find such a great place so quickly. Hunter is fantastic and definitely will not be going anywhere else.

Person who answered the phone turned immediately cold and bordering on rude when I asked if the stylists have been vaccinated. I was told to leave contact information, but they never called back. Apparently they don't want customers who are concerned about the covid problem.

I used to just go wherever to get a haircut, sports clips, super cuts, whatever was cheap. Now that I’ve discovered how good a haircut can look I can’t ever go back to those places. David is an incredible stylist, make sure to ask for him!

I called to get an appointment as I'm considering a new stylist since mine is in the anti-vaccination "camp". When I asked if the woman who answered could steer me to a stylist who is vaccinated she said none are?! I was shocked and very disappointed as I have heard good things about this salon. I'll be headed to a place that does the right thing to help stop the pandemic, keep our community safe and do more than spray lysol.
