Closes at 6pm but didn’t bother to tell the internet that. What a waste of a trip. Do better.

Went at 7:50 pm they don't close until 9pm and store was closed. Saw another review apparently they were closed by 7pm. That's crazy, I could see maybe closing 30 mins early but 2 hours?

I'm not sure why they are always closed when they are supposed to be open until 9pm. Disappointing for people who work and don't get off until the evening.

I made a purchase of (big, thick) yarn. Checked a couple of stores, but yarn was all over the store (messy) and tossed loosely in a bin. I spent a lot of time untangling yarn to get what i did. I needed more than they had, so I decided to return what I bought, but the manager refused to take it back because it was "damaged". I bought it that way, but she said that it wasn't rung up as "damaged" Again, not my problem, they should have kept all of the yarn in the individual clear plastic bags. I have a choice of places to spend my $$ but it will NEVER be at 2420 Walnut.

This store is super understaffed but the current employees are amazing. They are working so hard to try to clean up the store and get everybody through the checkout line as quickly as possible. The corporate office cut way back on everyone’s hours so please be kind to them - they are absolutely doing their best. The store manager, Dolores, is so incredibly sweet and patient. I shop there weekly and everyone at the cutting counter and checkout are the friendliest folks. Yes, the fabric is generally in a bit of disarray and there are huge boxes of fabric in the aisles, but they’re doing their best to get everything cleaned up and put away. There are so many rude and nasty reviews from people who don’t understand the situation. A little bit of googling goes a long way. Just saying.

Scheduled to open at 0900. Women saunters to the door at 0906 with 4 people waiting outside. Opens the doors and says nothing to anyone. No apology or welcome in. Place is a mess inside. I do appreciate all the stuff (selection), they have that you can't easily find elsewhere. The value is not bad considering many things are hard to find elsewhere. Need to hire and keep good help. People working there don't seem to be to happy or helpful.

Store was a mess. Upholstery fabric dumped on floor. A great disappointment. I won't be shopping at this store again.

I really need Joann to GET IT TOGETHER. It is so annoying that this store CONSTANTLY turns off its curbside pickup, making one of the best deals INVALID. If that option is removed they should make it available for online or in-store. Store employees also shouldn't get irritated for consumers wanting the best deal and well helping them do their jobs aka (when curbside is actually available) placing a curbside order and getting the yarn yourself.

I usually don’t leave review unless a place is really bad but this place is so good I had to leave one. The staff is always great and they make sure all of my coupons are in. Always smiling and always polite. It’s a pleasure coming to this store. Great staff

Angela is an absolute saint! I’m quilting for the first time and she was so patient with me while figuring out the measurements and fabrics. I cannot wait to show her my quilt once I’m done. If you need help, she’s your woman!

I try to stay away from JoAnn’s but today I needed to get a few items that were on sale. Big mistake. This store needs to be shut down. Was in the fabric section but the aisles were so full of boxes I could barely get through. Some aisles would not accommodate a cart. If someone was in a wheelchair or had mobility issues, they would have not have been able to get through. Not only was it annoying-it was dangerous. If a fire broke out, people would not be able to get down the aisles to evacuate. But I was there so I continued to get my items. While in the check-out line I noticed that there was bagged candy for sale…on the floor. Well, it was in a wire basket which was placed on the floor. Thanks JoAnn’s, there is a Hobby Lobby five minutes away that I will be going to from now on.

Me and my daughter got fabric, and she cut it wrong so we did not have the right amount, and she cut it so it was crooked, we didn’t notice until we opened it so we ended up just having to cut of the excess of by ourselves when it could’ve been done way faster with an employee doing it.
