I had an extremely disappointing experience at Petco I initially booked an appointment for my dog’s cytology, which I noted in my appointment description. Upon arrival, the receptionist was rude and dismissive, offering vaccines and brushing off my concerns about my dog’s lump. I had to remind the staff about the lump after my dog was brought back, only to be told—after the appointment—that cytology services aren’t even available on weekends
To make matters worse, while waiting for my dogs heartworm test results, I briefly sat in the open and empty training area to help calm my anxious dog. An employee rudely told me to leave, claiming it was for "vaccinated dogs only," even though my dog had just received vaccines. When I complied, I overheard her mocking me to another employee, saying, "Who in their right mind thinks it’s okay to come into my secluded area?"
This level of unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and dismissive attitude toward anyone is unacceptable. I will never be returning and would not recommend this clinic to anyone who expects compassion when it comes to their pet’s care

Took 2-1/2 tours to get a bath done at this location when I booked specialized care. Will be going to the other from now on. The ladies at the front desk were just sitting socializing, so how is it you were behind when you had tons of time to talk??? Had me waiting 15 minutes when I went to pick him up, the whole time talking. Very unprofessional and not worth the money in my opinion.

We arrived promptly 10 minutes early for our 4:55 vaccination appointment and sent a text to the number to let them know we had arrived. After a few minutes we didn't receive a response and walked into the store at 4:58. The gate was closed to the clinic and we were told we should have been earlier and that they would not uphold our puppy's appointment. I am unsure of what staff member we dealt with but she was incredibly rude towards us and said that "you should have just come inside". Our puppy is 8 weeks old and does not have vaccines, I have no reason to have an unvaccinated puppy around other dogs, that is a risk that apparently they were fine with us taking. I wish we would have just gotten a courtesy call to check in and see if we were there, could have avoided this whole mess.

I took my dog in for a full exam & thyroid lab work. I end up spending $382. I was told my dog lab work would be ready in 1-2 business days. I called several times after the 3 day mark. On day 7, after waiting in the call center que’ for 20mins calling several times I was able to speak with Dr.Shady. Who was very nonchalant to my dog weight loss & thyroid concerns. I asked him for recommendations & suggestions for over the counter food or supplements to aid in my dog’s weight-loss & all he said was feed him less. AFTER I explained to him my DOBERMAN only eat 1 cup in the am & 1 cup of food at night. My dog walks daily. He suggested only feeding a 1/2 cup of food for the whole day. Let’s be serious now. There’s no way a DOBERMAN can survive off a 1/2 cup of dog food per 24 hrs. I was interested in returning but now I will not be returning due to his lack of compassion for pets.

I mean they have a lot of what that other brand name "Pet" store place has but then again, the store I went to was 1/2 the size of the other brand named "Pet" store. The facility is nice & the staff was super friendly & helpful, despite me being there 30 minutes to closing on New Year's Eve.😬🫣 So, you ladies need a raise for being so nice & helpful by showing me where everything that I needed was. Which was only 2 things. But, still, they were very friendly. Now their prices, on the other hand, need some fixing. Because, they were definitely on the high side. Which is the reason I gave y'all 3 stars. Hope this helps anyone who's never been here B4. Because, this was my first time too.

The front desk check-in lady required a personality enhancer. She appeared cold and was perceived as not wanting to be there, disliking her job. The vet tech was outstanding. A charming young lady with a bubbly disposition. Unfortunately, none of them introduced themselves to me and made me feel like a nuisance. Their service was quick, however.

They do NOT care for their bettas at all. Alage is growing in their tubs, food and dirt is accumulating at the bottom of the tub, the fish are lopsided. Considering they need daily water change and water conditioner, and other stuff to stay healthy this is NOT healthy. I HAVE a betta and HAVE HAD other fish to know what healthy looks like. Only uneducated would defend this kind of abuse. I wonder what health inspectors would say to this. Do not buy your betta from here please.

I just picked up my dog from his date and I'm absolutely disappointed.
They did a terrible job, badly cut all over the body, their face looks fatal and as if that were not enough I was handed it with its tail and legs still wet.
It's amazing how bad they did it, I must come home to try to fix their bad job and you're definitely not going to pay me for that
I'm so sorry I took it with you. Terrible terrible oh my God!

No one was around the fish and reptile section. Asked the cashier for help and she called someone back there. After a few minutes, no one showed up. Went back to the front and the cashier was sitting down on her phone. Didn't want to bother her so I put down the other stuff I was going to buy and left.

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of receiving wonderful customer service from Hannah and crew! I already have a plant problem but now I have an aquatic plant problem because of the exceptional customer service that is impossible to find these days, the information I was given, and the great prices! I can't wait to go back to get some more goodies!!
