As much as I like the convenience, I’ll be finding another pet store to shop from. After spending $100, this company wants to CHARGE an additional fee for a bag!!!! That’s part of being in retail. Provide a bag to carry a purchase!!!
It’s not about the amount of the fee. It’s the principle. How ridiculous can you be?!
I don’t know a SINGLE small business that does this and they are the ones that barely scrape by.
Petco do better. Shame on you

Employees were not willing to look for an item that was in stock. Poor customer service.

Was in an unfamiliar part of Cary and as I went there for a job interview...the manager and staff were OK friendly. I was told that this was a new location.

Was followed around the store by an associate for 45 mins. Did not appreciate that type of “customer service”.

This store is always kept in a clean state. The employees are very accommodating and friendly. I’ve been going there for a few years now and the experience has been wonderful. Dustin, Hope and Andrea are the best.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon (busiest day of the week) with my dog and I guess they have “dog training” on these days?Well the whole class with their dogs decide they’re going to take the whole isle and I’m not talking about a side isle I’m talking about the long main isle that goes along the main part of the store. Tried going around separate ways but you had employees stocking shelves so to get to the isle I needed I had to cut along the class. I was told “you need to go around” and “can your dog not sniff my dog”First of all maybe NOT dedicate a training class to a public place where yennow people bring their dogs cause it’s a pet store…Either they need to do the training somewhere else or not do them at all.Also if they are training any sort of dogs with aggressive behavior IN A PUBLIC PET STORE WHERE ITS EXTREMELY NORMAL TO BRING YOUR DOGS WITH YOU TO SHOP is NOT okay AT ALL!!!!My dog is not aggressive at all. Not an ounce in her body is aggressive, so for someone in the training class to have the audacity to say that to a buying customer…. Yeah she can take that entitlement somewhere else.

I take my kids to Petco every now and then so they can see different types of pets. I try to make it a learning trip. But they like it and enjoy seeing all the different types of animals. It also helps me see what animal would be great when I decide to let them have a pet.

Such a bad experience at the groomer’s. I made an appointment several weeks in advance and when I arrived with multiple proofs of rabies vaccination in english, they refused to take my dog as it wasn’t in the format they were used to.I sent an email to customer service, again with all the proof of vaccination but they sent a generic email saying they passed it along to the appropriate department. A real vet could have looked at it and confirm it was ok but they just don’t value their customers…That’s too bad, I wanted to make Petco my unique go to place for vet, grooming and store but they just lost my business. I guess it’s a company that is too big to make their client and pets feel special…
