Really disappointed. I rented online and never entered the facility. Ours plans changed. A week after the move-in date, the manager calls to ask how the space is, I told her we never moved in (don't they check their locks???) and expected they'd refund us since we never entered the property. She said she'd check, and I get an email refunding me for the lock I didn't need to being with and another confirming I'd been moved out. So, I pay for insurance, taxes, and a storage unit for a month I never moved into a week after renting it. She never called to see if we wanted to use it for the next three weeks or telling me they weren't going to refund me. I'm surprised they don't do daily lock checks on the outdoor spaces and didn't contact me sooner or automatically refund me. My experience in the past with Public was great. Things change.

Everything is great in the beginning until after the first 6-9 months when they all buy double your rate and continue to increase it very often. Between that and now having issues with paying my bill, I am done and already found a better place that I’ll be moving my things to shortly. Twice it had happened in the last few months alone that I have paid my bill only to then get multiple messages that I didn’t. Just today this happened again where I paid my monthly for the second time early this morning (and even a late fee which I should NOT have had to pay) and yet AGAIN I just got a text and two emails saying I did not pay my bill and they are adding late fees. I just don’t get it. So now once again I have to call with my payment confirmation numbers and argue about this. Totally unacceptable and there are tons of other storage places in Cary that have just as good if not better storage units and will now price gouge you and won’t basically punish you for being a loyal customer by constantly increasing your rate

Super easy and efficient process. I was able to do everything online. And then the follow up to confirm everything was great. Super friendly service. But if you don’t want to talk to anyone, you never have to. (And the storage space itself is exactly what you would expect.)

We had a wonderful inside unit for a year and the experience and customer service was great. The only bad and unfortunate part about our time renting was that when we moved out we noticed we had lots of things that were missing, like canned food, our baby stoller, all of our dishes and some other personal items. The price also jumped up about 90 bucks. We went from paying 120 to 200 a month and that caught us off guard, but overall the service was great and it was a nice clean facility

First time I used public storage when I went out of country to store my all stuff. The experience was very smooth and convenient. All the process was done online using the app and website without any manual intervention.

Clean, secure facility, easy access to units, very helpful customer service. Shout-out to service rep Daniel who called me for a check-up a few days after we got everything into storage and helped me figure out an important part of my move.

You can do everything online and the app is great to have with it. The place is clean and well maintained and I feel my belongings are safe with the security they have in place.

I did everything online and was extremely painless and simple. When I finally moved to NC from Colorado and went to my unit that too was very simple and painless also!

I have been renting since February 2022. In October, my. rent increased by 25% with no explanation. No additional security was added, no additional personnel to the office, no additional access features, no changes to the units. When asked why the increase I was directed to the Corporate Office. I sent 2 emails and received no response. I understand periodic increases may be necessary, but felt a 25% increase WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION was excessive. Receiving no response was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Daniel was a tremendous help to me today and made everything clear and concise. Used this location in 2017- 2018 when I first moved to the area and everything was reasonably priced and easily accessible. Glad to be back here again for the next few months until the next move!

I just want to thank the District Manager Jason, Property Manager Daniel, and Property Manager Sarah for ALL of their help. I went to one public storage unit on hwy 55 but the power was out. The District Manager greeted me and let me know the issue but immediately referred me to the other public storage right down the street. I went and was greeted by Sarah and Daniel. They both took time to help me and even honored the promotion I had reserved for the other public storage location. They have been such a big help and if you’re in need of a storage unit then this is the place to reserve your storage space❤️

Sarah R is so nice and helpful and a big welcoming smile. I have used this Public Storage before as my son during an out of state move. Always clean and safe.
