If you need a good hairstylist, make your appointment with Hair by Elba. Best Dominican blowout in town, when trimming your hair, she cuts exactly what you asked and doesn't burn your hair. Your hair will feel loved!

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Johan, a hairstylist. Initially, I wasn't pleased with my haircut, but I decided to give it a few days to settle since a lot was cut off. Three days later, it was clear that the cut was not working for me. I contacted Johan to ask if he could fix it by shortening the back so it would blend better with the front. This seemed like a simple and reasonable request, not uncommon in the industry.
To my surprise, Johan responded with a very long and unprofessional message. He outright refused to fix my hair and suggested that I go somewhere else instead. He defensively insisted that his work was fine, but as a client, I believe I am the judge of that. The lack of accountability and refusal to provide proper customer service is astonishing.
I am still in disbelief over this experience and would caution others about the unprofessional behavior.

Was in a hurry for a quick cut. Walked in hoping for a walk in, got directed to the front desk. Went to front desk. Got handed a piece of paper with 5 numbers. Called all the numbers 4 didn’t answer and the one that did told me I should ask the front desk. I have access to google, i don’t want to call a bunch of people. Anyway, never got a haircut, instead I got the run around cause someone doesn’t want to do their job. Not good with walk ins. 2 stars, one for being clean, one for being friendly.

Hair By Elba - back right of the salon once you enter, she is awesome, I've been with her for years and I absolutely love her. Had not been able to visit her for a couple of years and I knew my hair was a mess but she literally plucked what I'd hoped for out of my head and made it a reality. Not sure I'll ever trust anyone else with my hair as much as I trust her - you, Elba, are awesome ❤️
