Review for Post Office – 150 Wrenn Drive, Cary
I’ve had several experiences with the unprofessionalism and tampering of mail with the mail carriers here. Recently, someone added an unauthorized decorative stamp to an envelope. These stamps seem to have the purpose of mocking and harassment. These stamps are not put on by the sender.
For example, on Sunday, June 15, 2025, I visited Union Church in Charlotte, NC. When I checked my mailbox yesterday, I notice they sent a letter. The envelope I received had a cartoonish dog stamp with its tongue sticking out—clearly not from the sender. The envelope’s top-left corner was dog‑eared and showed the words bites in smeared lettering.
Additionally, the back of the envelope was
discolored, wrinkled, and it’s obvious it had been exposed to some liquid, unlike the rest of the envelope.
I’ve submitted multiple complaints to the staff at this post office, but nothing has changed. This kind of mail tampering is unacceptable and needs immediate attention.

I wish I could give zero stars. Last year, we didn't collect our mail fast enough and without warning, they just started sending everything back to the sender. By their own admission, they are supposed to leave an orange tag stating that the service has been paused. Now this year, we have multiple pieces of mail just missing despite seeing it on the upcoming delivery. Since last year's incident I have been pretty diligently checking the mail multiple times a week (its down the street so not super convenient). Cant get through to anyone on the phone. The automated system just keeps hanging up on me. We need a better system.

I had the worst and the best experience at the same time.
The first person who helped me was an African-American woman. She was unfriendly and told me she couldn't help with my questions. I looked up the information myself, filled out the form, and went back to her, but she completely ignored me, as if she couldn't even see me.
At that moment, another woman with short hair called me over and kindly helped me instead. She even changed the envelope to a more suitable one and reduced the shipping fee from $60 to $21.
Thanks to her kindness, my terrible experience was saved.
I regret that I forgot to ask her name at that moment, but from now on, I will always look for her when I visit.

The team members that support the passport process are extremely rude and disrespectful. Don’t waste your time attempting a walk in appointment unless you arrive multiple hours before. Take your business elsewhere.

Susan G. Five stars is my rating for the Cary Wrenn Post Office. Yes, it is a busy Post Office. They do a lot!
I found the workers at the counter, willing to listen and help me. The Postmaster went out of her way to assist me with a special problem, which took extra time to solve.
Can’t say enough! THX!

This is the worst mail delivery system ever. The customer service is really useless and unreasonable.
So, my mail delivery man decided withhold my mail for the past 3 weeks because my mailbox is on the street where people park. I have reached out to the customer service asking if they could give an input on why I haven't recieved any mail for weeks. Their reply was that the mail box was blocked and mail man decided to stop delivering. And they closed my case without any input. No information was provided before they started withholding the mail.
The last one week we monitored to make sure that the car that was right in front of my house was my kid's and is parking way behind the mail box. But, still no mail was delivered.
And customer support team response wasn't helpful in understanding what needs to be done- I am still not sure what to do to get mail delivered to me. I am waiting for tax return documents, bills and checks. I am counting on these mail to be delivered to me on time.
Really 💯 useless system to take people's tax money and don't want to do their job in supporting people.

For such long lines, the TWO women working the mail counters were super quick! The way Jakita was able to multi-task, she might as well have 4 arms. She was very efficient and helpful! I'm giving it 4 stars because there should be more than two people working the counters. Thank goodness Jakita and the other lady with the short grey hair are so good at their job, or else your line would be all the way outside.. thank you ladies for getting us in and out!! (Pay raises for both!)

I live in Apex and whenever I have a parcel to send anywhere, I'll gladly make the drive to this USPS office in Cary. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful, even suggesting ways to save money when sending parcels. This is particularly helpful when sending to Canada. I highly recommend this office.

For the holidays, the post office was efficient, no nonsense and got me through quickly even with a mild wait. Jonathan was especially helpful with directing people as well as assisting people with kindness and leadership. Everyone was great, and especially the other customers who came prepared to effectively get in and get out.
