DO NOT USE THIS AS YOUR PHARMACY. You will regret it. Look at the evidence of the current rating for this place if my story alone isn’t enough. I've been using this pharmacy for more than 5 years and today was the last straw. The quality of their pharmacy staff has been going downhill for a while. This has been going on for so long I have to believe that overworking the staff is now their business model. The result really shows really shows in the attitudes of their employees. Today I got in line at the drive through for a prescription that needs to be taken in the morning which I had just run out of. I arrived at about 110 with five cars ahead of me. By the time I got to the window it was 131 and they wouldn't help me. I pleaded with the lady putting the meal break cardboard up that I needed my medication, had been in line for 20 minutes, and was the last car left! My pleas fell on deaf ears and she refused saying I could come back when they reopen. I don't know anyone who has time to wait for an hour during the middle of a workday! I went inside to speak with the manager who couldn't do anything to help and couldn't give me a way to get in touch with the general manager except to leave a review. I'm fed up and going elsewhere. The convenience of the location doesn't make up for the amount of time you'll spend waiting in line here to talk to overworked and apathetic eployees. And god help you if you need a little extra help one day.

DO NO GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FILLED HERE! There was a 30 minute wait to pick up prescriptions. A sign was placed in the drive thru stating you must come inside because they were short staffed. On previous occasions it has also been a nightmare trying to get all my prescriptions filled on the same day of the month despite seeing it up online and working with employees at the pharmacy. The Harris Teeter in the same shopping center has a pharmacy and there is also a CVS across the street. I would recommend either of those options.

Same as others. I had an appointment for a Covid vaccine. Waited 45 minutes finally someone came out and said they had a lot of walk ins and to be patient. Why have an appointment ?

This review is for Alex. Today my aunt and I had trouble with finding more of the tide oxi clean detergents in sale which ended August 26th (today) and took the time to call two stores to ask if they were in stock. So sweet and so patient, he waited with us for a response, and we were able to find a store with such great service. Thank you so much!!!!!

Trinise is the best. She helped me in the photo department and when I didn’t like the results she went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted. She really didn’t have to do that, but she chose to be kind and helpful. Honestly, it touched my heart. The story: I picked up address stickers last night that were off center. I told her I would take them anyway, paid and left. When I got home I threw them away and re-ordered different stickers online. Trinise must have seen my name at the store because she wrote “remake- no charge” on my order. It was very kind and a good deed that usually goes unnoticed. I want her to get credit. This will be my new store because CVS’s service does not compare to this. Thank you!

I scheduled a COVID vaccine appointment at this location today. My appointment time was during rush hour so I expected for there to be a little wait. After checking in, waiting for over 40 minutes, and having people without appointments seen before me I asked the pharmacist for an estimate about how much longer the wait would be. I was met with attitude and told “you and everyone else have been waiting.” They are clearly understaffed and stressed but this behavior was not called for. Save yourself the wait and go to a CVS, never had any issues with their locations.

I switched to this pharmacy from the avent ferry location and oh my god am I glad I did. The lines are sometimes very long but I think they are just understaffed and overwhelmed. Everyone working at the pharmacy is so nice. The people working at the one on avent ferry are horrible, judgmental and rude. The difference is night and day.

The employees are nice, but have made numerous mistakes on my prescriptions because they're completely reliant on what their system tells them, which is wrong at least half the time. Today's mistake was the last straw and I will now be getting mine filled at the Harris Teeter in the same shopping center.

Clearly Understaffed. If you have a prescription you need to call ahead for to fill you either need to go in person then wait for the refill or hope that you aren't hung up on while on hold. I've not had much luck getting someone to talk to me to say more than "please hold" sooner than 10-15 minutes after which I'll be hung up on. Go somewhere else for your prescription for everyone's sanity.

I have never had more problems filling prescriptions in all the other places combined that I've used besides Walgreens Tryon Village. The refills don't happen together when they should, I get shorted pills & no one there can explain why, and the people working at the pharmacy are d**** clueless, make up answers when they don't know something, and are rude. I just had a supposed pharmacist, who initially wouldn't give his name until I asked, answer the phone in a huff and be rude to me when I called to ask why my 90 day supply was short. I've already had different answers from different employees that make no sense. It's clear many of the employees here do not care for the patients they are supposed to be serving, some of whom may have serious or terminal health issues. If the snippy snowflake pharmacist I talked to has such a hard time answering the phone civilly like a grown up would be expected to in his position, maybe he should be digging ditches or cleaning toilets for a living so he never has to talk to anyone. I will be pulling all my prescriptions back over to another well known pharmacy chain, and will be telling everyone I know to do the same.

Do yourself a favor and go to any other Walgreens. They got all the lazy flakes in here.
