Absolutely rude and speaks to customers as if they are idiots. I bit my tongue and didn't respond rudely as I knew it wouldn't help the situation. I will do my absolute best to avoid using this post office. I have mailed a check which never arrived to the address or to my return address. I have not received packages that this post office states delivered to my mailbox. He acted like it was my fault and said I should pay for a PO box.

Service at our branch PO is getting worse and worse--with the exception of Brian, who tries hard and actually makes an effort. Our street has no delivery--so we actually have to pay extra for less service: i.e., to have a Post Office Box. When we get a parcel, then we have to wait in line to get it. The lines are often painfully slow. And if by chance, the shipper has neglected to include the PO Box #, don't expect the Post Office--all of whose employees know us by name and by sight--to take two seconds to look up the PO Box number. Instead, they just return it to the shipper. More time and expense for everyone, including the PO, the shipper, and the customer trying to find it. This branch seriously needs an overhaul.

These 5 stars are all for Brian. My husband and I just moved to the area and we knew there was going to be some difficulty getting packages. Rather then sharing the details I just want to say that at the end of what could only have been a very long Monday, Brian, with a long lobby line and working virtually alone, helped us not only to obtain some packages but was kind and explained the process clearly to us. I imagine it is frustrating for the staff as they appear shorthanded and there are many visitors or new residents here but Brian remained professional and courteous and it was so very appreciated.

Slower than DMV - went twice today, line outside entrance one person at desk. Wonder where the Post Master was? Not supporting his Front Desk workers. So broken.

All my packages were never delivered to my address and it says parcel held for pick-up. Went there to pick-up the packages but the rude guy wasn’t helpful at all and most of my packages are returned. One was picked-up by somebody and I asked how can someone pick up when they should be ID’d. It always updates as insufficient address as well but Fedex never fails to drop off my packages for me so how come?

I was in the USPS for the first time last Friday and it was a very good experience. I want to thank everyone there for helping to take care of me.Great customer service folks!

The staff is usually helpful and kind. the young gentleman who failed to even attempt to assist me today was neither. I don’t think that he even wanted to assist me. From the instant he made eye contact with me I had the strong feeling that for reasons unknown to me I was being profiled. Just a silly fleeting thought I had hoped. But, with his discourteous tone, distasteful choice of dialogue, and his unnecessary and confrontational remark about my wife and I not sharing the same last name, I am now certain that he did not treat me with the same respect as the other customers today. If I am wrong, and this is how he treats his customers, he should be fired. I am owed an apology.

I have had nothing but a good experience with the staff and their handling of my mail. My brother- in-law died last year and he had a PO box which they kept open for a year and promptly forwarded all his mail to us here in NY. We stay at our place in Cashiers for about a month every year and have done so since ‘46. We lived there for many years. Never had a single problem with the fine staff at a very likely overworked post office.

Package takes up to 4-5 days to get into your post office box sometimes. Been waiting for a few things that are just sitting in the back according to the venders.

Can't seem to get packages delivered any more. get msgs from vendors that delivery was attempted but either box was full (which it isn't) or no one was here between 9 & 10am. We are here no later than 8:30am. Postmaster gave me a form asking for a rural route #. Give me a break; those haven't been used since 911 came to be. Next day we were told that just means that we are last on the list. We are going to start asking our vendors to use anyone except USPS!

i have had a terrible experience every time i have gone in this post office, i have lived here for 13 years and probably haven't gotten 3/4 of the packages i have ordered. a few times i have gotten the wrong mail and was told to keep it. this community needs help and cannot except this type of behavior from adults working at the post office.

I am visiting here and needed to have a package delivered, -very rude man there at the cashiers post office, I wasn't sure if he would give me the package addressed to me because it wasn't my Official address. save the hassle use UPS

If your mail arrives anytime after noon, you will not be able to get it that day. If they haven't already sorted through it, which is VERY likely, they will not lift a finger to check if your package has arrived. In general, good service, but bad customer service.
