My physical therapist, Rob Schneider, is someone I’ve been working with for probably 20 years and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. He’s thorough, knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. When I have seen another therapist at ATI my experience has been the same.

I have suffered from lower back pain and discomfort since late January, 2022. Initial injury occurred in the weight-room. Upon doing some research, I believed I earned myself a bulging disc. My complaints were: I was unable to sit for long periods without immediately feeling a sharp pain radiate towards my hips (if my posture failed at any given point), driving (the sitting aspect) was challenging, bending down to retrieve a dropped item was unpleasant, I was no longer able to stretch or workout as normally, etc. I was becoming depressed, dreading any form of physical or stretching activity because everything became challenging for me to do.Fortunately, all my symptoms have gradually been improving thanks to Mindy Kim. She has recommended several corrective, alleviating exercises or roll-out methods. These I find challenging, unique; I enjoy performing them! She also “works” on (massages) the area, encouraging blood-flow to the affected muscles— meaning I don’t have a bulging disc, but have injured lats. Anyway, the quality of my life has been improving remarkably well! I am thrilled to have found such a knowledgeable, understanding and caring PT! I highly suggest you reach-out to her and her team if you are in the initial state I was just weeks ago. ? Also, shout out to Aaron who will likely be e-mailing and calling you for scheduling purposes, very professional and efficient!

Rob Schneider helped me tremendously! His thoughtful approach enabled me to do regular, effective exercises, which have improved my shoulder function 100 percent. I heartily recommend him!

I went for the first time today to address a nagging shoulder. I was listened to, had some therapy, given some exercises and left with a positive feeling. I will go for my follow-up visits after practicing my exercises.

I am a massage therapist who is new to the area. I was recommended to ATI for PT and hoped the person would be okay. I was used to having great PTs in MA, so didn't know what to expect. Rob exceeded my expectations, I felt better after first session. His exercises helped in between sessions.He is knowledgeable, helped to decrease my pain, and funny. Highly recommend.

Knowledgeable, professional, and courteous, the staff at ATI Physical Therapy in Chapel Hill will put you on a fast track to mending your physical ailments. That isn’t to say it’s easy, and your success will be incumbent upon your commitment to the process, but you couldn’t ask for a better guide down the path towards physical betterment.

Excellent care and practice! Starting with Cole at the front desk, the practice was friendly, helpful, and efficient. And Rob is an elite physical therapist! His listening, evaluation, understanding of my problem, and excellent therapy far exceeded my expectations. If I need PT in the future, I will certainly call Rob at ATI Chapel Hill. Highly recommend this practice!

Rob Schneider has helped me get back to life afterinjury many times over the years. He is very thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. I am working with him again now and I can already feel a difference after a few sessions. My husband is a sports orthopedist and he refers his patients to Rob because he know they will be taken care of correctly.

He has helped me go through a full labrum reconstruction from start to finish and has put me in an excellent spot for success as a collegiate swimmer. Rob is beyond fantastic. His knowledge of the subtleties involved in PT exercises and his ability to explain them make this an extremely helpful experience. You get stronger, improve and understand why and how. He is extraordinary as a therapist. He listens and empowers you to become the best version of yourself. I looked forward to each session as not only my hip recovered from surgery, but I recovered from all the disfunction leading up to it. I highly recommend ATI.

ATI is exactly what I was looking for and needed to find. While the exercises developed for me are challenging, the staff keep me motivated and believing I can do this. Over just a few weeks I saw considerable improvement in my posture, gait, and balance, and I have gained much greater awareness of which muscles are doing the work of movement.
