The store is fine and I have no issue with ATT. But there is only one employee working at the store at a time which has me waiting here for an hour to do two minutes of business.

I had a complicated situation involving 2 AT&T accounts I needed to consolidate, a deceased parent whose number I needed to keep temporarily, and a need to swap the living parent’s phone for the deceased parent’s newer phone… Jason was AMAZINGLY helpful, explaining options I didn’t even realize existed and walking me through the whole process with incredible patience!

Caleb and Al in there were absolutely amazing and helped me with my technical issue. They went above and beyond to solve my issue and made sure I was well taken care of. I live in Durham but drove to Chapel Hill for the quality of service you get here. I am very grateful and thankful to have met these guys! I highly recommend this store!

Employee was very knowledgeable, helpful, and talked me through everything. He recognized the problem right away and despite a few complications because of my phone he worked through it! Impressive!

I stopped in for a SIM card issue. The staff was friendly and nice to work with. My issue was fixed in less than 30 minutes with no issues! Thanks AT&T in Chapel Hill.

Jason was not only incredibly knowledgeable and efficient, but quite pleasant as well! I came in looking for a car charger for my iPhone 13 and he also helped me find the ideal portable charger for my camping trip this weekend! I was in and out within probably ten minutes and got everything I needed. Very pleased with my experience.

Great store experience. Rep name was AL and he did a great job of helping me. He help get into my phone. My phone screen was Crack and he AL was patient to help login and able to transfer my phone. AL was excellent and provided great service.

While my experience in the store was pleasant, what happened afterwards is why I am leaving his review. I came in to upgrade my phone and discuss options to lower my phone plan payment. The person who helped us was very quick and seemingly informed on how to do all of this. I left with a new phone and thinking I had lowered my phone plan payment by $20-50/month. A few days later I reviewed the email I had received and the projected future phone plan bill had gone up by $100. When I called to speak to a representative at ATT they explained that the discounts the in-store representative had added wouldn't apply for another billing cycle or two, but that the new plan they had signed me up for was going to be $50 more per month even with the discounts. Changing the plan back still requires I pay a prorated amount for the week I had the new plan, which is quite a bit more than I was ever paying. The discounts not applying for another month or two should have been explained up front, he was acting like he was applying them in real time. Additionally, I was signed up for a bunch of random monthly extras, all are under $10 but this adds up. I was not explained what these were, not told the cost, or consented to have them added to my plan- and I can't cancel them until they have been on the plan for 2 weeks. At this point, asking to get my phone bill reduced is going to cost at least an additional hundred dollars, if not more. And I still haven't gotten my plan back to the way it was before. Very frustrating and scammy.
