The last time I went to the Chelsea Theater, I forgot to bring my cash and needed to get to an ATM, as the theater does not take credit or debit cards. So, I needed to find a Bank of America branch with an ATM pronto. Luckily there is one near the theater. However, finding it was not so easy. This BofA location is not on the shopping strip but across the street and the wall of foliage make it hard to spot. Once I did locate it, I was surprised that the drive-thru section was in place, but without the ATM. They must have removed it at some point. What they do have is a traditional walk-up ATM on the front wall of the building, which is fine during the day. I normally don't like drive-thrus, because they encourage people to be more sedentary. Since it was getting dark, I felt that the grounds were not well lit enough and I started to get a sketchy vibe. Therefore, I did not want to get out of the car, but I had to. I always like BofA's ATMs, but they should make the grounds at night brighter for this location. Note: this review for their ATM and not their branch.
