I had a unique storage need and Katie at the Booth Road location was extremely helpful in figuring out not only the best unit for my needs but what the entire process and cost would be from start to finish. Very helpful guide through a very helpful event. If I have storage needs in the future, I’d be likely to start here again.

I began my Prime Storage locker in August 2025. Without notice, it was increased $17 per month. I spoke to the office, they said they needed insurance (copy) indicating my items were covered. I sent them a copy. And they said they were “satisfied.” I’m still waiting for my $17 to be applied as credit to my account. But, it got worse. Today I was informed by the office that they applied insurance charges once again, without informing me. This is not professional.

I had needed a quote for my storage unit’s, after having a multitude of places give me unreasonable prices on units. I call this branch in Chapel Hill, and the manager on staff was able to help me figure out exactly what unit I needed, to fit my furniture in! Everything worked out perfectly and the customer service was beyond stellar! I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for reasonable quotes and an affordable price!

I recently rented a storage unit from prime storage. It was very easy to get all the necessary information I needed, a storage unit on the second floor so it's way up high, I didn't had to call back and extend the term of the rental and that was really easy and when I came initially to store my stuff they were very helpful in the front office. All in all this was a really great experience so far.

We had a great experience storing with Prime Storage with an outdoor RV spot. Derek was great to work with and they got us all squared away in a timely manner. Be aware that when you’re turning onto Booth Rd, the entrance is the first right. We ended up accidentally on the other side and had to come back down in the big RV. Would recommend storing with prime storage anytime!

I had a fantastic experience with Prime Storage in Chapel Hill. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the facility was clean and secure, and access was always easy. I really appreciated the climate-controlled units and the convenience of managing everything online. Perfect for UNC students or anyone needing reliable storage. Highly recommend!
