My dad has been banking with these people for a long time and got me to when I became an adult. This was a great disservice. The manager Donna B treated me like a criminal every time I came to do business with them. This is why I refuse to bank here. Do yourself a favor and bank anywhere else.

Great local bank feel with all the needed bells and whistles. Donna, I think Branch Manager is the title, is friendly and very helpful when needed. She even greets us when we see her around the neighborhood in stores. The tellers are friendly and responsive. I don't often have to go in but when I do they make me feel like an old friend. Use the lockbox which is also convenient and easily and quickly accessed when needed.

If I could give this bank location zero stars I would... we have had this bank for close to two years and unfortunately due to location this is the bank I have frequented the most. The customer service at this bank is horrendous and not only that they are extremely unprofessional. The lady that works the drive through I made a formal complaint about after many issues with over this last year and unfortunately the following day we received a letter stating that we had 10 days til they closed out our act with them. WAY TO HANDLE CRITICISM... if you want a bank that handles their customers this poorly than this is the bank for you and especially this location. Customer beware.

So I go to the bank today as i have a couple of hundred in $20's I would like to exchange for smaller bills due to the impending hurricane and the possible need to have cash on hand. I walk in and ask if I could please exchange. The gentleman at the counter was quite nice and started to take care of me and then the lady asks, "Do you have an account with us?" I informed her I used to but didn't at this time and she promptly tells me the they cannot do that for me. I asked, "so you are saying you cannot exchange money for money?" "Nope," she says "the most we could do is $20" So I advised her that being this is the way they treat people it solidified the fact that I will NEVER have an account with them again and will advise others the same. So I went ahead and had the nice gentleman exchange the $20 and promptly went over to the Harris Teeter across the parking lot and they happily took care of me and now everyone at Harris Teeter knows how poorly First Citizens Bank treats people. Sad thing is, we are looking for a bank closer to home and First Citizens could have been it...not anymore, not now, not ever. Way to go First Citizens. And just as an FYI, I am not alone in my sentiments.
