“My elderly father asked me if I could take his watch to a jeweler to have the battery replaced. Less and less people even wear watches anymore so I wasn't sure where to take it. Looked on Google maps and saw Wentworth & Sloan Jewelers and decided to give them a try. Located in a mini mall across from Harris Teeter (enter by Alfredo's Pizza due to major site and road construction), I was immediately and kindly greeted by the owner and told him my mission. His place has a real jeweler on staff and before I knew it, the delicate task was already done. Looking around and talking with the owner and others working there, a vibe of honest, friendly, and competent expertise was obvious. Dad was pleased to have his watch back (for under $20) and I was pleased to deal with a hassle-free, high-quality establishment that prides itself on exceptional service. At too many places, attention to minor things (like watch maintenance) is nearly extinct but not at Wentworth & Sloan. I plan to return soon (with my wife).”
