I've been a customer of Lark almost since the first week it opened. I love the clothes and accessories that Katherine , with her great eye and her art background, chooses! They are edgy enough for an artist like me, but also have an underlying timeless style that makes them perfect for my needs. Katherine and Wendy are warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable, both having been in the clothing and design industry for a long time.They are keenly aware of their customers' tastes and personalities, so that the guidance they give in wardrobe choices is spot on.

Really fabulous store in Chapel hill that made me feel like I am back in LA at one of the better boutiques I used to shop at. Friendly helpful owner and just the right amount of clothes to look at. They carry beautiful items from clothing to shoes to wonderful jewelry.

moved to this beautiful area just under three years prior. Previous to this I claimed residence in Manhattan NYC for the last 54 years (where I was involved in the fashion industry ). I now live in NY only in the spring and summer months. Through recomendations from friends, I happened upon Lark Home and Apparel. This is one of the best finds that I could possibly happen upon in this area. The lines and articles of clothing of which this wonderful boutique carry are consistantly amazing. The buyer for this boutique is apparently extremely talented, aware and knowledgeable of the fashion industry . They consistantly exceed the mark for the fashion trends for the year and for the season. Providing and displaying clothes that compliment woman 28 - 80, of any shape, body type and sizes. The sales clerks are very knowledgeable and do not miss a beat when asked about the fabrics, cuts, designers or the lines. The "cherry on top" of it all, is when entering Lark, you are greeted and treated like old friends. There are many boutiques that think they know what they are doing in the industry; but I assure you ... Lark does know what they are doing in the industry, and when you are wearing their clothes, it certainly reflects it.

Lark has casual clothes in brands like Orla Kiely and Weston Wear - anthropologie-esque, on a smaller scale, lots of unique sweaters and t-shirts. They also have some nice jewelry and home decor items. This is also the only place where I was able to find those little sticky tabs that close up gaps in between the buttons on oxford shirts.
