I adore Minas! Their stylist Lindsey is simply the best!! I have been seeing her for years and she is an absolute master at her craft! Her understanding of the techniques and theory of what makes a cut and color great is unparalleled. Go see her, you will be glad you did!!

I cannot speak highly of them enough! Their prices are costly, but they are in line with the other businesses in Chapel Hill/Carrboro. To me, it is worth it to know and trust they will do a good job!! Their owner was nice enough to get me a same day appointment when I (unfortunately) went to other studio and got a bad haircut. She took the time and care to fix the uneven layers and even walked me through how to style it properly as it grows back in. They really took a bad situation and turned it around for me!!

One of the worst haircuts I have received. Maybe stylist was having an off day because in the past, I have been very satisfied. One side 1-2 inches shorter than the other. Asked stylist to stop cutting because clearly they were struggling and making it worse. Thankfully I was not charged. Two stars for ease of booking, parking, and ambience of salon, but I won't go back

I have been a client for many years now and just finally getting around to writing a review. Alejandra is an expert with cut and styling, and always open to experimenting with colors, which I change around often. I also.love that Mina‘s Studio is a full service salon with Jenny expertly doing manicures and relaxing facials. Highly recommend.

Had a terrible experience here. Got a "blowout" I told the stylist I wanted just a regular blowout. She put rollers in my hair without asking, or telling me it was going to be extra to do that. She did not put any hair spray in my hair! (i have straight hair, obviously i would need hair spray to hold the blowout) it went flat when I went outside for 5 minutes. She also did my hair part terrible I had a bump in the back of my head from her not doing my part correctly, literally have never had a stylist mess that up before.
Cost me $80 for the worst blowout Ive ever had. They offered for me to come back and fix it which I appreciated, but it was my wedding rehearsal day I didnt have time to come back. $100 total with tip, down the drain and the extra stress on my wedding wknd just really sucked. They refuse to give me a partial refund.
Its extremely shady to add on extra fees without telling you or even asking you in the first place! This was 2 weeks ago and Im still so upset about it. Dont go here.

Thank you Louann for doing a great job covering my grey hair. You're great at what you do. I don't know the stylists name but she fixed my son's botched haircut for his graduation this weekend. Thanks for making him look great and giving him his confidence back for his big day.
