I discovered the one in Chapel Hill within the last 2 months. I went there nearly every morning. The two women I met every morning are wonderful. They're friendly and welcoming and appreciate their customers. The coffee choices are good and the coffee is great. They have fresh Krispy Kreme donuts and, would you believe, very good fresh-out-of-the oven pizza! In the morning! and throughout the day! Their prewrapped hot biscuits and sandwiches are pretty good and priced fairly for a convenience store. I have really enjoyed going there, the coffee perks me up almost as well as the friendly service. However, whoever was at the register this morning has ruined the experience for me. The young man was smirking at me from the beginning of our transaction., Maybe I wasn't immediately aware, but it soon became apparent. It is my opinion that he found my being an old man funny. The women never ask me for my membership #...one of them had signed me up and explained the process. I think this boy called me a liar without actually saying so. He asked if I was a member, which I am (was) and I said yes. He then told me to tell him my membership # , looking, to me, as if he knew I wasn't a member (sly dude). I had never been asked that before, and I was beginning to feel a bit uncomfortable, and the suddensess of his question caused me some confusion. I asked, "Membership number?" and his immediate snide remark along with his snarky expression and amused attitude, was, "So you're NOT a member!" It's a wonder he didn't say, "AH-HAH! Caught Cha!" Then he looked at his coworker (not one of the ladies) as if he was proud of his catching someone claiming to be a member. He then said, with a condescending voice, "It's your phone number?" I did, I paid, took my coffee, and left. I did meet the two regular workers outside, busy with an incoming shipment, and told them I would not be back. They were very apologetic and wanted me to come back into the store to straighten things out. Maybe I should have, but I was embarrased by my treatment because a customer had watched the exchange, plus, big plus, I was very angry and did not want to confront that self-esteemed fellow again.I regret that I am too hardheaded about being insulted and made fun of to return there ever again.I hope others have better treatment from the boy when they get their coffees and snacks.

Been a customer here for years, everything got a lot better after they rebranded! Store is always clean, food is decent, and the coffee machines look like they’re cleaned regularly as well. The staff is cool, but there’s a guy who works most mornings (tall, gruff appearance, nice beard) and he’s super nice, very accommodating.
