FYI...so everyone understands this outpatient pharmacy fills controlled and prescription drugs only. If you're looking for over-the-counter items including vitamins, wheelchairs, Band-Aids, cold medications, etc, then you would want to visit the employee pharmacy in the memorial hospital on the ground floor near the gift shop.This pharmacy is not restricted to employees only for any of the front floor stocked items. They do feel employee prescriptions behind the counter as an added service to UNC healthcare staff.

I have trouble opening my prescription bottles, so I requested the easy open lids. The pharmacy didn't seem to remember to give them to me, and they finally remembered when i called hospital's patient relations to complain
