University Place is located in the heart of Chapel Hill and the vibrant Triangle region. It is considered the area’s premier shopping destination, offering an award-winning experience with a unique mix of national and local retailers. The center features many amazing restaurants like Stoney River Steak House, Alfredo’s Pizza Villa, bartaco and the recently added Hawkers Asian Street Fare. Visitors can also enjoy Silverspot Cinema, the movie-lovers’ theater. However, some find the mall itself boring, with few shops and a quiet atmosphere described as a ghost shopping mall. Despite this, the theater and some connected restaurants are noted for keeping it up, with the food and service at these establishments described as wonderful, top-notch, and supreme. It remains an interesting and unique place that subverts the traditional idea of a mall.

Like a small town within a town. Interesting mix of stuff. Lot's of outdoor spaces to chill out. I am looking forward to it's completion (especially the hotel). I will report back

I'm not a fan of the traffic or of the traffic of people. It makes it very hard for me not to think the gene pool needs chlorine or why Noah only took animals....?
