I am very disappointed with their service. They did't know how to take passport photos and tried making very crude digital alterations. Even when I asked for the original photo without the digital alterations, they gave me the altered version of the digital copy. Now I have to get another photo taking and spent more money on this.

Terrible service and very rude over the phone when I called about an issue where they had double charged me for a $115 order.

Write a Review for WalgreensAfter yet another bad experience at a Walgreeens, and at this one in particular, I felt compelled to write a review. I do hope someone is reading them and listening to customer complaints, which go back a long way here on yelp.My complaints are mainly about the pharmacy and its rude pharmacist, who gave her name only as Samantha. 1) Two months ago a made an appointment for a covid booster and a flu vaccine. I arrived on time for my appointment, but was told that the pharmacist was about to go to lunch and that I'd have to wait 30 minutes to scheduled receive my vaccines. Mind you, the pharmacist does not administer the shots, and needs only to review the syringes before the medication is administered by a tech. I had a confirmed appointment that had been on the books for a week. Perhaps the pharmacist could have taken her break before my appointment or after? Perhaps she could have quickly checked to doses so that my appointment would not be delayed. But she decided that her break should be during my appointment, and that I should wait for her. This is how she, as a representative of Walgreens, values their customers.2) More recently, I went in to pick up two scripts. I duly stood in line waiting to be called to the counter. Samantha, the pharmacist mentioned in the previous incident, was staffing the window. She called me forward, turned to chat for a minute with her colleague while I stood there waiting, then turned back toward me and said loudly (through the plexiglass) that I should return to the line because she had another customer. As loudly as she was speaking, I assumed she was talking to someone behind me, since no one else was in front of me in line. But she said it again, ordered me back to the line, and invited a seated young blonde woman to take my place. Samantha could have asked a colleague to take the woman at the next register, which was operating and free. She could have stepped to that register herself and apologized as she asked me to wait for a few more minutes. When I suggested this, Samantha became combative, and asked me if we were going to "have a problem," as if I were an unruly customer and she intended to call authorities. At this point she told someone else to ring me out, who then had problems doing so. This second employee took my scripts back to Samantha, who tore open the sealed bag, opened my script bottle with her bare hands and without wearing a mask, then recapped it, placed it back in the bag, and had the employee give it back to me. I inquired as to the nature of the problem, and was given a garbled excuse. I am unsure that I will take this medication, and will ask my doctor to send a new script elsewhere.Long, long story short, Samantha is a mean Karen who has no interest in customer service or really in doing her job as a trained professional who must also represent well the company she works for. She is unkempt (for a pharmacist whose personal cleanliness is central to keeping patients safe and healthy) and agressive. She is a bully and is unprofessional. From other reviews, it seems that all of the Chapel Hill Walgreens are in a good deal of personnel, professionalism, and morale trouble.

This Walgreens store has terrible customer service at its pharmacy location! they always get the prescription wrong and take over a day to fill the prescription. The 2 women who work at pharmacy are extremely rude to talk to. It is a pity it is allowed to stay open!

If I could give zero stars I would. I have pcos/endo and CANNOT miss a dose of my birth control or I get extreme breakthrough pain and bleeding. I sent them the rx OVER SIXTY days before I needed it refilled. They didn't have it ordered apparently because a week before I was supposed to pick it up they send me something about it being in order/delayed which I assumed they'd have it on time. THEY DIDN'T. I have spent all day trying to find a pharmacy to fill this medication and found nowhere since this pharmacy didn't do their job and order it ahead of time. So now i'm going without my medicine. I will never go to a walgreens again period.

The 2 women I dealt with at the pharmacy were the most useless and obnoxious employees I've dealt with anywhere in years. There was a problem with my rx and they both refused to help me at all. They said my rx was "unauthorized" in their system and they didn't have my dosage anyway. They had "no idea" when it will be back in stock, wouldn't contact my Dr, wouldn't transfer my rx to another pharmacy or see if any other Walgreens had it in stock. I finally asked one woman if they help customers at all, and she just walked away.! Stay away from this garbage pharmacy. I'm actually disgusted enough to call corporate.

I never had good experience with this place. Always had issues with prescription medications. Always has to argue with the staff at the counter for anything.

After spending 2 hours and wasting money trying to get a passport photo at UPS and FedEx (they couldn't either pass the government requirements, or provide it electronically), I finally found that Walgreens was by far the best place to get passport photos, especially in a electronic format. The employee was very professional, checked that the photo satisfied the requirements, and gave it to me on a USB stick for half the price of UPS.

I have to say, this is not my favorite Walgreens. Most of the employees try their best, but the pharmacy is always understaffed and there is always a huge line of people waiting to pick up prescriptions. Frequently there's only one person working who gets stuck with a customer with a never-ending saga of woe and confusion dating back to the 12th century and the line keeps getting longer and longer until somebody else FINALLY emerges from the back to open another window. Then frequently the next person in line ALSO has an incredibly complicated mess that needs sorting out and involves calling 4 doctors' offices, 2 insurance companies, the surgeon general, and Superman. I have never seen a pharmacy where the customers have such complicated lives as this one. It seems only about 1 in 8 customers is there just to pick up, pay for, and go. They are not always the fastest at getting prescriptions ready, although if you are sitting there waiting for it they will usually expedite it for you, especially if you are coughing and heaving in the queue area. The parking lot is tricky and even though it's located at a prime intersection in CH, you can basically only get into it from one direction, so if you are coming from the Durham side of CH, you have to go past it, slingshot around the mall, and sneak in the back entrance. I feel bad for the staff at this Walgreens because I think they're doing the best they can, but it's always an uphill battle. I finally moved my prescriptions to the one on LaSalle Street in Durham and so far things are better there.

Awfulness abounds. Customer service is at best an afterthought in this store. They have lost prescriptions for me, resulting in a need to make an additional trip to get them filled. They do not notify you when auto-renew prescriptions are ready and guesswork is required to avoid coming too early or too late. Given the high volume of negative reviews here, I do not see why Corporate has not stepped in to remedy the situation. Perhaps this is because they bought out Rite-Aid and have a near-monopoly. My wife often uses the downtown store which is much better, but which is a hassle to get at, owing to the obnoxiousness of downtown parking in Chapel Hill.
