A super-hidden Wells Fargo Bank! So hidden that I thought they were out of business. Doesn't seem like a lot of people know about this location. I pretty much walked in to do my business and walked out in less than 5-minutes. Impressive, right? Also, great and friendly customer service!

It sure would have been nice to get paid today....except I didn't because Wells Fargo closed our company's commercial account without any notification whatsoever. As a group of University sub-contractors we use a Wells Fargo commercial account to handle our finances. While setting up for our current round of work, Wells Fargo bank fees put our newly-opened account into the negative by 3 dollars(yes, three whole dollars). And rather than call us....or email us.....or send us a text message....or a push notification through the Wells Fargo app they just closed the account. I have enough nickels in my cup holder to pay their 3 dollar fee if it was that important. However, our company's account is closed and instead of being in my bank account, my paycheck is still at the University accounting office since they didn't have a commercial account to deposit it in. Our project lead spent the ENTIRE day trying to resolve the issue with Wells Fargo but they could not fix this situation. It's estimated that it will take 60 to 75 more days to route the money through a new bank. Maybe my mortgage...and car payment....and grocery bills can all wait 75 days too.I get better customer service at Chick-Fil-A getting dipping sauce for my nuggets than I do at Wells Fargo. Maybe it's time my neighbors and I work together to find another bank that cares about the neighborhood where it's located and the community it serves, because Wells Fargo certainly does not. I'm going to get tired of driving by a bank every day on my way home that I am never going to set foot in again.

I have never had a worse experience with a bank in my life than I have with the Wells Fargo branch at Barbee Chapel Road in Chapel Hill. They closed the commercial account of the small business I was working for without so much as a call or an email. Our team has been working as sub-contractors for the University for the past few months and when we tried to receive payment into our Wells Fargo commercial account we discovered it was closed. The staff at Wells Fargo said it was not possible to re-open the account again, we would have to open a new account.Since we are University sub-contractors, this will be a multi-month delay before we can get paid for work we did in December and January. The pandemic has already been difficult for me, my family, and my business and now Wells Fargo, through its actions, is delaying our paycheck by weeks and months.Wells Fargo in this location is only catering to the high end hedge funds and financiers in the area. If you are a small business, University sub-contractor, or just a Chapel Hill resident looking to open a personal account, you are not welcome at Wells Fargo nor at this branch. There are plenty of other banks in the area that would appreciate your business and would certainly offer you the courtesy of a phone call to resolve a problem rather than closing your company's account and screwing over all of your employees.

Do Not use Wells Fargo and Do Not use this branch if you can if you can at all avoid it.I chose Wells Fargo as the bank for the small business that I am opening in town. After opening an account as a first step I then went on to set up my business and integrate my banking information into all my e-commerce platforms and client accounts. When we went to open our business this month Wells Fargo had for some reason closed our account without notification. We got no written notification, no email notification, and no phone call of any kind. When I went to resolve the issue at the bank I was told that there was no way to open the account back up again. Evidently the Wells Fargo fees had put the account in the negative by THREE DOLLARS so they closed the account. It will now take us months to set up a new account and integrate the banking information across our platforms and our clients. This is months that our staff will not be getting paid simply because Wells Fargo fees put the account in the negative by THREE DOLLARS while we were in our startup phase.DO NOT use Wells Fargo if you are a small business. They do not care about small, locally run companies. You won't even get the courtesy of a single phone call to resolve a problem. I had used Wells Fargo for various businesses since the 90s but I will never use this bank again for any reason. Avoid them at all costs.

I don't understand why it is so hard to help an honest customer who just wants an account. Let me lay it out for you. Instead of working with me and my company to make sure we were getting started with our new company, they cancelled our account without so much as an email or a call.We put our trust in Wells Fargo and they let us down. Open a Wells Fargo account at your own risk.

Find another location for service, selective hours, ‘closed’ when supposed to be open, place is comical for a ‘business’. Reflects WF overall position and leadership in products over the past 5y.

Unfortunetly the worst customer experience I've ever had at any Wells Fargo branch. I met with Mr. Todd Walton who was extremely rude and disrespectful. All I needed him to do was noterize my title but he gave me and the guy I was with such a hard time. After he was a smart alec several times, we decided to leave and go to BB&T where they noterized it with no issues. Because of this experience, I plan to possibly switch banks. Thanks Todd Walton for the great customer experience.

Really terrible service here. One teller on a Friday afternoon. As I walked in the entrance, I was told by a rep to use the mobile app or go elsewhere since there was no one available for the next 20 minutes. Won't waste my time with this branch or bank again.
