SCAM ALERT - my car battery died and AAA recommended taking to a certified AAA mechanic. They quoted $1,000 saying I needed a new starter. I got a 2nd opinion and only needed to charge my battery, free of charge. Been driving my car for days now without an issue. NEVER trust the AAA mechanics.

I can't actually comment on the quality of service because no one ever actually touched my car. I had made an appointment 3 days in advance, dropped the car off 15 minutes prior to that time and they had the car for 5 hours and never looked at it because 'the master mechanic was dealing with a difficult repair.' They also never contacted me to inform me the repair would likely not be possible that day, I had to call them. I get that repairs might take longer than expected, but what is the point of the appointment system if you can't even get a diagnostic done in 5 hours? I wasted an entire day for this. Completely unacceptable.

I'm there @ 6:45am for a state inspection, just to be told I can't be seen because I don't have an appointment 🙃.
At worst, I should have a 2 hour wait .....
I'm ok, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I am deeply disappointed with the service at AAA Steel Creek. Recently, I needed a minor tire repair which another service center had deemed fixable. Despite this, the technician at AAA insisted that I needed a new tire, citing that it is company policy. They will try to up-charge you on everything! In past visits, similar patterns have emerged, especially during vehicle inspections, where I was presented with an unnecessary list of expensive repairs. It's disheartening when a service you rely on lets you down like this, taking advantage of consumers’ trust and loyalty.
I will not be returning here and strongly advise you to find somewhere else that values fairness and transparency. I hope AAA addresses these issues to restore trust and ensure fair treatment for all customers.

Twice now I’ve come in with a flat tire. They didn’t have the exact tire I needed but they found one elsewhere and went to pick it up. That way I only needed the one tire. On both occasions I was in and out in under 2 hours. Very professional, yet friendly and accommodating!!! Highly recommend!!!

I will not be returning here and advise you to find somewhere else!
Oh and to all - beware of the hidden $40 fee “they charge all customers” for a service charge?
I only found out about it after being prompted to swipe my credit card.
When I thought it seemed a little higher than quoted, I asked to see the breakdown.
it was only then that I was shown the receipt which showed this never disclosed charge.
Shame on you AAA. I’ve been a loyal member for emergency car care for 25+ years - but will never use your auto care shop again.

Shout-out to Grant for the exceptional job he did in restoring the headlamp lens on my vehicle. I've had restoration work before but not comparable to Grant's work. Wow!!
