The ALDI on Sunset Road in Charlotte is a grocery store offering everyday low prices on a range of goods including fresh meat, seafood, produce, baked goods, frozen items, and home goods. Many customers are huge fans of the ALDI system, appreciating the low prices and good variety. The store has approximately 80% of the items needed for a full shop, with particular praise for the steaks described as a fabulous deal. Vegetables like tomatoes, celery, and apples are noted as great, though avocados are often underripe. Customers must bring a quarter for a shopping cart, which is returned, and bag their own groceries at the register, where credit and debit cards are accepted. However, the store receives mixed feedback. Some reviews state the store is not as big as other ALDI locations and could be cleaner and neater, needing more attention. There are isolated complaints about product quality, such as mold found in packaged food and some produce that doesn't look great. Despite this, the cashiers are frequently described as very helpful, and the presence of a security guard contributes to customers feeling very safe. The business encourages the community to shop there, offering online ordering for curbside pickup or delivery.
Aldi has become my go to for groceries because prices are just too high. The Aldi by my house has self checkout, and this one does not. The long lines are a bother, but I will say the cashiers are very fast.

It’s a hit or miss here, sometimes things are fresh other times not so much!

Just be careful what you buy. I found mold in Hummus right after opening. The mold wasn’t on the surface but in the side indication issues with packaging cleanliness. This was found on 7/17 with an expiration date of 8/6 . Some of the produce doesn’t look great either. LIDL imo is better.
